Landfill. Absolutely rubbish bottles. They changed the valve design on the teats and they don't work on the old bottles. They also don't work well on the new bottles. Barely anything comes out and it leads to babies becoming frustrated and taking in air. Terrible design from a once trusted brand of baby bottles. We have twins and have given up on… Read more

Five Stars – A Great Bottle Once You Learn How to Use It. For us, it takes time! I bought the Philips Avent Natural Response starter set when I was 8 months pregnant. At first, I didn’t realize that finding the right bottle and teat would take some experimenting. My baby initially refused the Philips Avent Natural Response, so I tried several… Read more ·  1

other brands and teat sizes.

After doing some research and reading reviews, I decided to give this bottle another try. I followed the instructions carefully and took time to learn the proper techniques. My baby finally settled on teat size No. 4 at just 2 months old—and it’s been smooth sailing ever since!

I ended up purchasing another 125ml set with vents. Unfortunately, it only came with teat size No. 2, so I had to buy two more No. 4 teats separately to match what my baby prefers. I really hope in the future we’ll be able to choose bottle and teat sizes separately—that would make things so much easier.

This bottle has been the best choice for us. It mimics the natural breastfeeding flow, which helped my baby transition from breastfed to formula easily and noticeably reduced gas and colic. Now, she takes it without any fuss.

A few tips from my experience:

1 . Make sure the teat and rim are tightly secured and aligned correctly. See the manual photos. 2. Use the mark on the rim to position the vent properly. (see my attached photos) 3. I slightly open the bottle before feeding to release any trapped air—some parents also gently press the teat to let the air out, which works too.

Highly recommend this product—it just takes a little patience and adjustment at the beginning!

It's actually -5 star for the product and customer service from Philips. Bottle always has air trapped and baby unable to drink any milk. Initially bottle and teat was okay but in few days ( also new purchased bottles) had the issues. Tried with air vent- still same issue and Philips guys don't help you for week even if their return time is expected to be within 48 hrs Show details

Such a great bottel! – My baby was so fussy and she loved this bottle! So great I could get slow and fast teets! She was really colicky and I found this was the best bottle for her! So easy to clean! She has learnt to hold them on her own! Show details ·  1

The only brand of bottle we will use – We have been through sooo many bottles from the day we brought our little one from hospital. From the doctor browns bottles that were recommended to us by our CHN, to pigeon, tommee tippee and much more. All of the other bottles would cause too much leakage/spillage when feeding, or when preparing the bottle they sometimes wouldn’t release milk at… Read more

all! Since finding the Avent bottles, we have noticed a dramatic change in our babies feeds, and they have continued to support him with comfortable feeds even after a tongue tie release. Super happy with this brand!

Works great for us – Works fine for us. No leakage. My little girl have no problem with it. Occasionally the teat will suck into the bottle but it will quickly goes back to its original position. don’t quite like Pigeon teat as it has a hole on the side where milk will leak out. Bottle also fit the Spectra S2 milk pump.

My sons favourite bottle – These were the first bottles I purchased when I decided to bottle feed(240ml Glass & Plastic). Luckily my son took to them straight away with no issues. I mixed fed (breastfeeding & formula) from 6 weeks and had no issues with nipple confusion or bottle refusal. The size of the teats are fine for us and flow is good as well. changed to 6m+ from 3m with ease, although it was probably not necessary as my son hasn’t had any issues with feeding. We have 8 bottles & 10 various flow teats and haven’t had any issues or leaks with any of them. I love that they are glass and very easy to clean.

Frustrated with advent teats and bottles – I bought teats less than two weeks ago and they are leaking already. This has happened so many times it's not funny! I have used mostly the colic teats but the natural ones are the worst! Omg it pours out where the plastic ring is! No matter how tight it is, it will leak. Do not waste your money on this! Don’t waste your money – I have recently purchased these, the bottles leak, the teats don’t allow enough air for baby to drink properly they are left with exhaustion and wind. The teat constantly gets sucked back in due to the poor air valve. Paid a lot of money for these bottles and was left disappointed, I went back to tommee tippee that I had used with previous kids Show details

the bottles are good, but replacement teats are nowhere in stock – I like the bottles, used them while breastfeeding and all works well, but I have been looking for faster teats for weeks and they are nowhere in stock. I will have to change bottle because of that, which is costing me extra money and stress getting baby used to a different one. Wouldn't buy again for that reason. Show details

Don’t invest in this brand! – I bought the natural bottle range for my child, and when I went to use it for my next child years later, the teats for older babies are no longer in stock, anywhere! I used these bottles to wean my baby, but they don’t have any of the #4 teats available anywhere. I emailed my issue to Phillips and was ignored. I contacted them on social media,… Read more

Leaks and extremely easy to break – I have enjoyed Avent bottles for a while but this one is not on the top of my list. I find that it leaks quite a bit. And we have accidentally dropped and broken our 3rd one - the glass splatters everywhere and it takes a very long time to clean. It would be good if Avent could fix the leaking and use a material that does not break so easily. Thanks. Show details

Not fit for purpose! – These bottles leak everywhere even when you follow the so called troubleshoot steps that Avent is promoting. Avent you need to do a recall these bottles are not fit for purpose and I won't be purchasing any Avent products again. Complete waste of money. No nipple confusion – Tried both natural and classic bottles for both my children. The bottles are very durable my first born is 21 months old and im still uaing the same bottle since she was born. I change the teats every once in awhile with no issues. Never experience any leaks at all. My 3 months old is using both kind of bottles as well. Im happy amd satisfied with Avent bottles. Show details

Great bottles – Used these with my first baby and just purchased new ones for this bub. No problems with breast/bottle confusion, baby feeds well from them with little wind issues. The only downside is that the teats are a little hard to find in supermarkets, usually have to go to baby store. Show details ·  1

Lid can be difficult to remove – These bottles do a good job for bottle feeding my baby. There is only minor leakage from the corner of her mouth due to the size of the teat and her mouth (i guess). Only negative is that with a baby in one arm, trying to remove the lid with one hand is nigh on impossible. Show details ·  1

Leaks!! – It’s a 50/50 chance of getting a bottle that doesn’t leak! I don’t know if it’s a problem with the nipple or the part that hold the nipple.. but I had to toss a few bottles because they wouldn’t stop! I bought the plastic 3 pack 9 oz bottles. Worst product absolutely awfull constant leaks – These bottles leak all the time makes mixing formula a pain. Leaks all over baby during feeding. Complete waste of time money! Wouldn't recommend - lids are hard to remove – I used Avent's natural bottles for my newborn and still do as it was the brand I was most familiar with. ids that the lid is incredibly difficult to remove, especially with wet hands. It's one thing I can definitely live without the hassle of. By the way I've been using Pigeon's wide neck teats as they match, though does have a bit of leakage.

Love this product – Love this bottle. I have bought the natural range in multiple sizes. And the option of coloured plastic or glass is great. I also love that all the screw on lids are interchangeable (lids not teats). Means I can use her avent sippy cup top on her bottles (and vice versa). Only downside is the cost of teats.  Show reply

This isn't as bad as people say but for the price, I wish it could have performed better – I use this with my five month old baby and figured that this bottles leaks and the milk flow is a little too fast for my baby. Oftentimes, the milk just goes off her mouth which is nothing but a mess. One thing I love though is the super soft petal/nipples that comes with this. it instantly latches on my baby's mouth without a fuss.

Do not like it – I have been given the Avent natural bottle with number 1 newborn teat and gave it a try. The teat looks intriguing but the flow is just too fast for my two month old baby and she looks like she is going to choke on it. I am fed up with the constant dripping and spitting of the milk and will prefer not to use it.
