and safe for kids to learn to use too. It works perfectly well and we cook everything from fish, calamari, party pies, mini chicken kievs, samoses and spring rolls to name a few. We only wish it was bigger.

Great machine and highly recommend the Phillips brand for air fryers as we were recommended by so many others.

Fantastic item. Everyone should have one – Purchased the analog XXL large model to replace a previous air fryer. size for my large family, does a fantastic job of crisping things up and in a portion of the time it would take in an oven. Wonder why I persevered with my old air fryer for so long The frying tray is on a nice track which slides nicely, which I have not seen in other models. It all pulls apart for easy cleaning. Nice solid footprint, so no risk of toppling. Much cheaper than the digital option. The dials are really easy to use, unsure what benefit digital would add to the experience. Cons: The materials used in cooking tray etc, do not clean easily.

The controls are very easy to use with an accurate temperature control and timer. They are very accurate as compared to an oven where 170 degrees could be 160 or 180 depending on how old it is, leak at the door etc etc.

The cooking compartment is huge and the cooking container is very easy to clean as it comes apart and it can all be soaked in the sink. Some other air fryers we looked at can only be dipped into the sink as parts of the cooking compartment are not designed to be soaked in water.

The air fryer cooks and reheats food fabulously, for instance KFC chicken tastes better after going cold and being cooked in the air fryer. It also maintains its crispiness. Other simple food like chicken winglets taste much better as compared to when we cook on the frying pan and are much healthier because so much fat drips into the tray at the bottom when cooking.

The food tastes so much better and is so much healthier!

The one thing we don't like is that although it is easy to clean the air fryer after use, the cooking compartment comes apart into three pieces and it is a bulky clean. The reason this is a problem is that even for one piece of KFC you will want to heat in the air fryer because it tastes so good but the cleaning will be there at the end. You don't have to clean after every use but we prefer to do that.

This is one of those products where you can't go wrong, although I will highlight we have only had the product for about 6 months so can't provide feedback on longevity. Regardless, it is a great product and if you are wanting to buy a large air fryer at an affordable price you won't regret buying this one.

Love this product – This product is simple to operate and makes cleaning after cooking a breeze. I use my air fryer to cook things I would normally use my micro wave and conventional oven for. and chips are just like buying then from a restaurant. I love that the kitchen is not heated up as it is when using a conventional oven. The Phillips Airfryer XXL can also grill, bake and roast foods in less time then using other appliances. I also purchased a few accessories to help me convert to this cooker rather then use my oven (and extra electricity) such as the silicon muffin cups. It makes great cup cakes in 18 mins. You can download an Airfryer app which gives you step by step instructions for a variety of recipes. The benefits of this product are endless. Cons: My only downside is the size of this product, it takes up a bit of bench space however as it is nearly replacing my oven and microwave for a lot of my cooking it is worth it.

to understand) there are pictures and time recommendations for food printed on above the timer which is super helpful when I was first getting use to the machine as if you use normal oven times the food will burn (I learnt this the hard way).

I mainly used this for cooking my evening meals and made lots of Salmon and Quinoa or Cauliflower Rice bowls, Veggie Fries (zucchini fries were a huge hit) Roast Vegetable Salads, Mac & Cheese and loads of snack foods and dips for when my friends came around (jalapeño poppers, nacho dips etc). I also bought the baking dish to go with the machine and found that I used that for most of my meals and was worth paying the extra for!

It made all my food really crispy on the outside but still tender on the inside - stand outs were the skin on the salmon was perfection and anything with a crunchy texture (chicken nuggets or fries) and the amount of fat it removes from the food is mind blowing when you think that it would still be in the food if I was using a different appliance.

The most important feature is definitely how easy it is to clean - you can literally put the entire cooking basket into the dishwasher! This was probably the standout feature for my lazy self!

Great unit but for one issue – We bought the XXL non-digital. This is our first airfryer and after 1 week we are very happy with what it can do - great for quick snacks for the kids. muted leaf blower. I am not sure if all airfryers are like this but if there are quieter ones I would probably go that way in future. This one is very intrusive.

Bulky, Expensive, and Hard to Clean – We bought this to replace a t-fal actify which we can't find anymore, which lasted us for 8 years and various replacement parts that wore out. This airfryer compared to the actrify: 1. Big, bulky, loud, and doesn't cook enough chips at a time. 2. Absolutely awful to clean -- Lots of hard-to clean areas inside the cooking basket / drawer that grease builds up on 4. Fragile and complicated -- the clunky cooking drawer was dropped and the handle broke -- now the entire machine is worthless. We were using it regularly for the kids chips, but neither of us was disappointed that it broke.

1 week in and having timer issues – Have only purchased 10 days ago and am a little concerned. The machine turns off before the timer has finished. The machine and the timer don't appear to be in sync. For e.g.: The timer may still have 5 mins to go and the machine finishes cooking and all i can hear is the remaining ticking of the timer until it finishes. No oil needed – This airfryer has helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have used this air fryer for all types of meals prepared including savoury snacks, fish and chips. It fries the food in approximately 10-20 minutes. Only problem I faced so far is that the drawer can be sometimes hard to shut and and I accidently dropped it because the handle is a bit hard to grip. Love it! Still going very well with regular use – I always enjoy a good meal made with this air fryer. We use it mostly for reheating or defrosting. Given that my family and I are fairly busy, we tend to be short on time so not having to heat up an oven for 10 minutes is excellent. It's also great to not be experiencing the oilyness but still get a nice crunch. We have always found it very easy to use and clean. Fantastic essential kitchen equipment – I use my air fryer for roast dinners, frozen meals and normally fried foods .Incredible rarely use any oil at all very occassionally I use very small amount of oil. problem with the numbers dissappearing – after been using it for about 5 weeks the numbers came off. very disappointing as you can not use the machine without knowing the frying times.I have been cleaning it only with warm water.

I use it daily& couldn’t live w/o it. It’s cut my cooking time dramatically. Everything tastes amazing! – The food is so light and fluffy, especially roasted veggies!
