This shaver is a huge disappointment for after using Philips shavers for 60 years – Provided you don;t have to use it for more than 15 minutes at a time, it is ok. Travelling, I only use it every 2nd day between charges. The head system is supposed to be "superior"; but the edges of the blade housings tend to catch on my skin when shaving. Can't say much for the durability of the blades either: I needed to buy a new head replacement after only 2 years of use - even though it is always cleaned thoroughly after every shave. Now the circuitry has developed a fault causing the water tap icon to show when it has just been cleaned. The shaver then only runs for a few seconds before stopping, and restarting, then stopping again. Repairs from Philips are very expensive. Definitely not worth the price for what you get in inferior performance.

It doesn't do what I bought it for.... A Close Shave – I'm happy I still have my old Norelco. I use it to hit the areas and stubble the new Phillips S9031 leaves behind. I hate that I bought 3 based on the nice look. One for me and one each for my sons.
