thought that we needed an air purifier as we live in the Adelaide Hills. It does exactly as it says. Although on the expensive side, it is worth every dollar as it purifies the whole house. The filter can be vacuumed when necessary and Philips stand by their claim that filter will only need replacing once every two to three years. I tend to agree as we are working this non stop now for nearly three weeks. It is quiet, very contemporary and fits nicely into our home. I highly recommend this product.
