Loving this toothbrush – The philips sonicare was recommendes from my dentist. I always got painful gum infections in my wisdom teeth cavities. I never had an electric toothbrush before and I had to get used to it first. I now wouldn't go without it. My teeth are so much cleaner and I haven't had a single gum infection. My charger broke after about a year and I got sent a new one under warranty. The toothbrush finally broke after 4 years. But hey, that's an awesome life span for that price range. You get what you pay for. I ordered the elite plus now and I am more than happy.

Philips Sonicare toothbrush is awesome – I don't know how anyone could say that their teeth aren't 100% clean after using this toothbrush. My teeth are squeakly clean, have gotten whiter, my gums are healthier and my plaque is not coming back after my last dentist visit like it has in the past.; This toothbrush is excellent and worth the price. If the toothbrush isn't working properly, chances are it's the operator, not the toothbrush. the timer beeps to let me know when 2 minutes are up, which helps my son for efficient brushing

Worst electric toothbrush ever – My teeth never feel 100% clean using my expensive Phillips toothbrush. Why they shortened the bristles in certain areas on the brush head is beyond me, because the toothbrush doesn't reach all parts of my teeth. Recently it stopped working and when I sent it in for repairs, I used a manual toothbrush in the interim- worked 100% better and my teeth felt cleaner than they had in months of using the sonicare. Waste of money.. Disappointing. Thd battery lasts a long time Poor performance, doesn't do what it's advertised to do

Excellent – I LOVE this toothbrush. I only wish that I could find somewhere to buy a new one as mine has died for no good reason. My teeth always feel really clean and it has a really good reach so I can clean right to the back of my mouth. The best clean that I've had with an electric toothbrush! The battery lasts a long time. Battery seems to take awhile to charge (but then it lasts for ages, so that is OK). Mine has died after 18 months use and I don't seem to be able to find a replacement in Australia! It gets a bit gross if you don't clean inside the head regularly.

Died after only 3 months. However since I have moved countries and didn't have my receipt any longer I assume warranty is not available. I pulled it apart and the electronics was very wet with saliva/toothpaste residue. In many places I found severe corrosion of the circuit boar components. It seems that fluid entered via the seal at the top where the vibrating arm exits the plastic body. I'm very disappointed as this is without doubt the best toothbrush I've ever used.

Excellent – I had one for about 4 years and then the internal battery died so that's expensive. But having used a normal toothbrush for about six months now, I absolutely want to buy another Sonicare again. Nothing beats that superclean and smooth feeling after using the Sonicare. I also love that it times the 2 minutes. It makes your teeth feel clean like no other toothbrush can, and ever since starting to use the Sonicare, my dentist always compliments me on my excellent dental hygiene. It manages to remove much more plaque than a normal toothbrush can. Difficulty to get replacement heads in Australia, and they're not cheap either (but I think they're worth it). And yes the build-up of 'gunk' if you don't unscrew the head and clean the inside regularly.
