My first Philips Sonicare toothbrush – It works really well and I should have started to use it earlier. I also asked my other family members to buy Sonicare ExpertClean. I am writing this review just because I think its score should be higher than what it is now. :) Show details ·  1

Good power but cleaning head too big – We were looking to replace our previous $300 Oral B toothbrush. I was happy to buy this and got it for a good price however disappointed with the large toothbrush head as I’m unable to get to every surface of my teeth without toothpaste & spit flying out of my mouth and going everywhere. I thought a bigger head would give a better & easier clean… Read more ·  1

but not in this case. I wish I’d stuck with a smaller round brush head. My husband feels the same. Phillips has advised I can order replacement interchangeable heads at a smaller size so we will do this moving forward. Still wish to note the large size of the head.

Great electric toothbrush - Gentle on gum – I bought this Philips toothbrush as I (my gums) did not really like the Oral-B ones. I was originally more inclined to purchase the Philips DiamondClean 9000, but I found out that both Philips ExpertClean 7300 and DiamondClean 9000 share exactly the same motor, as such, I decided to go ahead with the cheaper ExpertClean 7300, and I do not regret… Read more ·  1

it.

This electric toothbrush cleans my teeth very well, and most importantly, does not hurt my gums like the Oral-B does. I have only had it for a few days, so can't comment on its battery life so far; but that aside, the build quality and the ergonomic design were great. It also connects to Philips Sonicare app, while it was not as comprehensive as the DiamondCare series, I personally do not need those additional features; I just want one toothbrush to clean my teeth well and helps maintain if not improve my gum health.

Overall, this is the electric toothbrush I would recommend others to purchase if they are looking for one; though please make sure that you do not pay over $170 for it (since there are always promotions going on).

Warranty Issue! Beware! – After lots of research I decided to purchase the Philips Sonicare ExpertClean 7300 HX9618/24 in White (exactly the same as the Black and a 7300 series) at the cost of $219 from the ShaverShop in July 2020. I was very happy until September 1st 2020, first I felt something was not right and then saw the metal spindle which the brush attachment… Read more

slides onto was wobbly! Took it back to the ShaverShop on Sept 2nd, their first words "Not another one!" They were great and out of keeping their customers happy kindly replaced it but explained under Philips policy that part is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!! As apparently, Philips would deem I broke it for pushing too hard, I'd have argued that accusation but luckily didn't have to go down that avenue. Despite the demonstration in the shop regarding a slightly different 'buzzing' sound to warn me I'm pushing too hard, in practice it's very faint to hear during brushing teeth!! So glad I purchased it in my local store instead of online from somewhere else! Hope the new replacement lasts longer than a few weeks, unless mine was just a dud, otherwise, please be aware the warranty doesn't apply :-(

No USB Charging Case Included – Purchased HX9618/24 from Myer in May 2020. According to Philips website (link below), it comes with a USB charging travel case. Unfortunately the unit I received only come with a travel case without the USB charging function. I contacted Philips Support on 18 May 2020. Despite my numerous follow ups, to date I am yet to receive any update from… Read more

For customers who interested in the USB charging case for this model, please double check. https://www.philips.com.au/c-p/HX9618_24/expertclean-7300-sonic-electric- toothbrush-with-app#triggername=colorpicker_rosegold

Chic looking toothbrush – I love the stylish look of the toothbrush. I also like how you can change the intensity as I initially found it ticklish on the highest setting. The black coloured toothbrush looks amazing in any bathroom. Show details ·  1
