Amazing juicer! – Amazing!!!!I did so much research to find a good juicer but didnt want to spend much. Found this on a website deal and was a bit scared. I only used it once so far but is just so easy to put together and clean. Didnt even need to cut the veggies and fruits. Very happy! Best buy ever!  Show details ·  1

So quick and easy – Love this juicer! The best thing is there's no mess when it juices. It's easy to clean and assemble. It's a lot quieter then I was expecting, which is good. Love the suction cups on the bottom so it doesn't slide and move around. It seems to extract a lot of juice as well.  Show reply

One word: Excellent!! – I just bought the HR1855 It has a 700W motor and a 2- liter jug. It does the job splendidly! One thing I'ld like to mention though. It comes with a jug. Use it! I was so excited about the whole thing, taking it apart and putting it together, that I forgot the jug. So I drop in my first orange, pressed it in and guess what? Juice all over the… Read more ·  1

place!!! And I can assure you; the amount of juice you get from one orange is absolutely mindboggling!! Everything is exactly as promised. The pulp is dry and the juice is wet, very, very wet and there's a lot of it! Do not forget the jug!! I now put it on top the machine so it's the first thing I have in my hands when I take a hold of it. I guess next time I forget I fall into the category of people who are advised against using it! Compared with my old machine this one is quieter!!, easier to Clean and gives more juice (drier pulp). Happy customer!

Good juicer and value for money – I am really happy with this juicer. It juices well and is pretty easy to clean if you rinse it straight away. I really like that it's not as big as the other juicers I looked at in this price range and I think it's great value for money. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because it's the first juicer I've bought and I have nothing to compare it to, but I can definitely recommend it.  Show reply

Great juicer – I was looking for a juicer that would be easy to clean, since the one I had just took ages! I actually had to spend quite some time with a brush to get all the bits out of it, but with this juicer, it is way easier. I've tried to juice everything, from carrots to kale, and it works great. easy to clean, doesn't take up much space

Very happy – I wanted a smallish juicer that wouldn't take up much storage room and that would be quick and easy to use, clean and put away. I used the HR1855 for the first time yesterday and it was all of that. It wasn't too noisy and the suction cup feet ensured it wouldn't wobble away from me during use. It yielded more juice from vegies and fruit than I… Read more ·  1

expected (but I have had no previous experience). I'd recommend it, especially if you aren't going to be using it in high volumes, daily - after some pretty heavy use yesterday, it developed that "smoky" odour when appliances overheat but I think I pushed too hard - albeit slowly - with the (unpeeled) beetroot. (I'm hoping a slight odour doesn't mean I've damaged it; thankfully, it kept on working.) Moderate size, quick and easy to use, clean and put away, does the job, value for money. None as yet, but a little worried abnout that odour.

Value for money – Fast and easy to clean: i have juiced a 250ml glass of carrot juice and washed up in 5 mins. The machine will juice any fruit/ veg in seconds. The plastic parts take less than a minute to wash but the sieve will take a around 2/3 depending on what and how much is juiced.. Quiet: have juiced first thing in the morning no one has yet… Read more

complained about noise.

Juice is delicious however the amount is variable. I get a very good amount from my hard veg, but the softer or more leafy the product the wetter the waste pulp. I i juiced a bunch of spinach then sieved the waste and got another 30%. However from the extensive research i have undertake this is to be expected with any centrifugal juicer even the more expensive ones.

It looks stylish: and it’s only a small footprint on my worktop.

The marketing spec boasts that the machine can juice up to 2 litres before it needs emptying. However you will have to empty the trash container at half a litre when juicing carrots otherwise you will end up with pulp in your juice as i did. I’m not sure which fruit/veg will meet the 2 litre claim, however when i juice any concoction that includes carrots i empty more than once.

If you find you have to empty the machine before you can make more juice remember to put the sieve back on. For the absent minded like me i need the machine to not start until all parts have been put back.

Finally the suction pads are a bit temperamental. The machine starts with such power if the pads aren’t working you have to act quick to ensure the jug does not slip out of place.

I’m extremely pleased with my purchase. Whilst the machine has its weaknesses these are far outweighed by its strengths. The ideal machine would be fast, easy to clean, stylish, reasonably priced and juice every last drop of juice from all fruit and vegetable. I spent hours researching and as of yet it does not exist. This machine meets most of my ideal requirements and for the price it is good value for money .

Nb if you buy the same model in black you can get it £20 cheaper. Also the juicer comes with a jug (sometimes not shown in promotion photo).
