Very disappointed – I bought a Plum 10ft trampoline from Farmers NZ for my grandkid's Xmas. It lasted 6 months when one of the poles holding the safety net snapped off when one of the kids crashed into the netting. I was told that it is not covered under the warranty as it broke because of misuse. Show me a kid that jumps straight up and down in the middle of a… Read more

trampoline. If they did that they wouldn't require safety nets. Sorry about the rant but don't buy a Plum trampoline. Buy a better quality brand.

Good Build. Great for 2 and 4 year olds – Surprised with other reviews. Bought from Rebel Sports April 2023, really impressed with quality of built. Took less than 2 hours to build the main part of trampoline, needed a bit of help from my wife. The longest part was tying up the safety net to underneath of trampoline, but with a few beers and a bit of music, I had a nice little job. Value… Read more ·  1

for money wise, I feel this is a great purchase. Thought the instructions on how to build were great, with some added warnings and going into a bit of extra detail really helped. Nothing worse than being a parent trying to build something and having horrendous instructions on how to build that doesn't make sense!

Terrible quality! – Terrible quality. Unable to insert pieces because it wasn't a circle. Had to return it, wasted 5 hours on it. Would give it 0 stars but it won't let me. Show details

Unstable, flimsy – Just finished constructing, and it’s a nightmare. Segments lift and separate and the T-joints are flimsy. Very tricky to construct. The whole structure is unstable. Buying it was a mistake.  Show details

Don't buy it - broke within a year – I bought one for my 3 year old grandson and it broke less than a year later. Sometimes his Dad jumped with him but their combined weight was no more than 100kgs. Even though it was still under warranty the Manufactures and Farmers where we purchased it refused to replace it. Hate to think what would have happened if more than one child had bounced on it. Show details

Not the best quality, you get what you pay for – I built this trampoline for a client last night. As a trampoline installer, I can see it's a clear case of you get what you pay for. With the help of the client, it took me a good 2 hours to put it together, although it was getting dark and raining a bit. So many fiddly parts. Pet peeves: T-joiners are flimsy, hard to secure without assistance as… Read more

the screws are only just long enough. Threading of net to mat is always a pain. They did supply a needle, but a simple boot lace ending on the string would be much easier. Net poles seam weak and probablly can't take the impact from a 50kg bouncing kid. So many small design changes I would implement to make it easier to assemble, more durable and better value for money. I told the client this trampoline should last 4 years, but after reading these reviews, I am second guessing my estimate.

It was good at the start – Hi bought this product for my kids 10 and 12 for 2019 Christmas and all was going great when a spring popped off, but no it hadn’t just popped off the stitching that holds the webbing to the mat all snapped so I sewed it back on with 20pound fishing line, then more snapped off, then over the Christmas holidays kids left a ball in there which generated heat and the mat melted. Show details

So far so good – We’ve had this trampoline from Aldi for nearly 5 months , and while being a bit anxious reading all the reviews we’ve had no problems and are enjoying it! The kids use it every day and it’s stood up to all four seasons here in Queensland. As with most trampolines it was tedious to build but we love the netting and ladder , and the bounce the kids… Read more ·  1

get is perfect. Will look at getting some kind of after market cover/ top as the kids can spend all day on it and get sunburnt. Happy with the price and quality thus far !

Very poor quality – Received this as a gift from grandparents last June. The matting around the outside of the trampoline has all faded and gone out of shape. The zip on the net broke within 6 months. My kids are only two and four so the bounce is sufficient for them however their 8 old cousin was very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend this product to anyone

Do not buy, waste of money – My girls got this for christmas and it has lasted 4mths! The netting has pulled away from the support poles, the poles pierced the foam, mould all around the mat, and the bolts that held the support poles (for netting) have completed snapped with leaving the trampolines unsafe to use for children too young to play on. It was never overloaded with… Read more

weight and the sides were never bounced off so unsure why this product has deteriorated so quickly. I put it down to poor quality for maximum profit.

Crap – I have had the Aldi Whirlwind Tramp in a box for 2 years and finally put it up. What a waste of time. The fibreglass pole holding the net broke within a week and I ended up with fibreglass shards all through my hands. Tramp is rubbish and I will never buy this brand again.

No spare parts available for older products!! – A rip appeared in the zip and netting / enclosure after 12 months and Ive just discovered that no spare parts are now available as the trampoline is now a few years old! It has been a great trampoline but we can no longer use it for obvious safety reasons. Such a waste!!!!!

Christmas Day Farce! One Day Old and I am concerned! – We have bought the 10ft Trampoline for $199 from ALDI primarily for our 3yrd old son. Instructions could have been clearer, though overall Set up was fairly simple. Construct, despite the price I expected to be solid. Ensuring the safety of my children. NOT THE CASE!!! The nuts and bolts are an absolute JOKE and SAFETY CONCERN! In a… Read more

effort to tighten the weak metal clamps so as the legs are completely stable, I have snapped 5 off and had to replace them with much stronger ones. Though metal clamps have now bent and the legs are not holding upright at all.

The netting I would have expected to be softer and less abrasive for the kids.

The threading system required for the net is questionable and a complete mini tool should be provided as opposed to being requires whipping something up "Macgyver Style".

Three (3) Springs appear to be have lost their "Full" spring already.

The amount of poor reviews that I read on here is deeply concerning.

The old adage "You get what you pay for" is true in most instances.

However I would have thought that $200 is still a solid amount to spend for most families, in the hope that they have purchased a product that with last for years to come. Likewise a trampoline that I had as a child lasted us 15years for comparitive the cost.

Very disappointed at this present moment and hope to find a resolve soon.

Fine for the price – We've had this nearly a year now and the only problem we've had are the bolts breaking all the time.(touch wood) We have only ever had 8 and 12 year old children on this. Yet they broke only months after having it up. After reading the reviews on this prior to buying it I was wary on the zip and it tearing so we haven't used the zip but I can see… Read more

how the netting would come away from the zip. It is in a sunny position and I haven't had any problems with the padding. Good price for a trampoline and so far so good (bar the screws). As with most things you get what you pay for. It's been fine for us.

Lasted a year. Terrible. Won't buy again – Bought the 10ft from aldi as pictured. Sure it was cheap and you get what you pay for. Frame had a slight wobble from day 1 - can't tighten any further. At 12 months old, bad distinigration of the pads - turned white from the sun and surface coming away. Used by 2 kids only under 15kg each. No adult use. Safety netting ripping at seams in many… Read more

spots. Won't use now due to the risk. Now just over a year old and will buy a more expensive brand next time. Plum, please use quality components - wouldn't cost much more in the scheme of things. Don't chase the dollar when kids safety is at risk
