Not an off road camper at all! Very Unsatisfied Customer – We purchased a Parkes mk2 in 2021 and have found that it is not as robust as they like you to think it is. We have replaced all latches on the back sleeping fold down unit twice. The back door to the sleeping unit has fallen off TWICE where the rivets have failed, we have had to put 4 gate latches to secure the back bed section of the camper as… Read more
the other latches fail continuously, the toilet has stopped working twice and because it’s a sealed unit has had to be replaced, the water tank pipes have failed, the water tank senders have failed in both tanks and twice in one of those tanks, batteries have had to be replaced after three years, the latch to the toilet has been replaced twice and lasts about 5 minutes after repair, the lights above the bed had just rattled apart and have had to also be replaced twice, the latches holding the roof have failed and broken and have had to replaced- all except one, two of the pull out trays have had to be replaced. The spare wheel holding unit has also broken and the struts have had to be replaced. The camper has been used a total of 8 times over the 3 years we have purchased from new. When it comes to getting the camper serviced and repaired - they literally take weeks even though they have had the list of issues weeks prior to booking - last time it was booked for repair it took six weeks!

PMX Buckland – Purchased 1 of these a few years ago, large canvas tent which is made even larger by adding the annex. Took around 1/2hr the first time I put it up, gets better with practice. Trailer tows well & good for most terrains. Negatives, just fixable quality issues such as straps & D-ring attaching points degrade & turn to dust over time. The weather… Read more
strip sealing tape over the canvas stitching also just peals off. But overall, good soft floor camper for family getaways & value for money.
Best ever – I bought a parks13mk2 from PMX canningvale and it was the best thing I ever had done ,the van is awesome and the customer service from Ryan was awesome thanks PMX
Very poor service – After contacting pmx for a part 3 times and I still haven’t heard back from them not to mention the tv for my Lincoln lx has a line in the screen which I asked to be fixed 3 years ago on warranty and still remains the same , I feel the aftercare is non existant they take your money and push you out the door for the next victim . I’m trying to sell… Read more
my camper but can’t because they won’t get back to me with the price for the part which I’ve offered to pay for plus freight to Kalgoorlie from Perth and it’s a part that makes the trailer unroadworthy being the bolts that hold the trailing arm on . The trailer can’t be moved to take it to Perth as the bloke from pmx suggested i do . Absolute joke and I’m surprised they’re still trading
Horrible customer service ever! – Purchased buckland lx mk2 from pmx canningvale. On handover terrible experience, wasn’t shown how to set up the actual camper, instead ben took us to the display one and said I just do this this and this instead of actually physically showing us like a good sales person should do. Then I needed to purchase a different tow tongue which was another… Read more
added cost, he should have checked that on order not on the day of hand over, I was lucky enough to had the extra $$ it cost, i paid cash for this camper. it really was the worst customer service I’ve experienced. This is my first camper trailer and I made that clear to the sales person and he said he would show us how to do the full set up. Biggest waste of time. Camper it’s self is good and once shown by friends how to set it up was easy it took all of 1 hr for full set up to be shown. There is how ever a fault with the locks now if it was set up at the time he would have seen this and been able to fix it. The screws have loosened on the metal strip, the mattress looks used and this would have been picked up if set up was done there and then. Now why couldn’t he have done that!!!
Great after sale customer care factor – Live in WA travelling in Tasmania had unfortunate incidents high winds mangled tent poles, separate dented door panel fridge compartment. Phoned Wangara branch, a few quick emails and pics manager Greg had things sorted. Parts either available or ordered prompt action most appreciated. Show details
Great service – Yesterday picked up our Stirling GT MK2, from PMX Canning Vale, could not be happier with the camper and in particular the service we received from Carlin, his product knowledge and customer service is outstanding, looking forward to catching up with Carlin again for our first service. Great purchase – This review follows on from my first. We have now taken our Parkes 15 on its maiden trip from Perth to Exmouth and points in between. Having had little experience in caravining we decided not to go too far off road however we did stay in 3 places that were only accessible by dirt road. Importantly we are happy to report the van remained dust… Read more
tight. We took Carlin’s advice and turned on our exhaust fan in reverse mode which helped pressurise the cabin.
The van was a breeze to tow with the Jeep Grand Cherokee, on all surfaces.
Setting up the roof and bedroom became second nature after we had gone through the procedure a couple of times.
Upon our return we had the van serviced and had a few minor teething problems fixed and adjusted.
PMX aftersales service was excellent.
Our purchase has been a good one!

Our ticket too escape!! – Finally got the cook onboard to get a camper! I’ve been keeping in touch with the major camper trailer providers for a while. So when we had the money sorted I went to nearly every place in the metro even looking on gumtree but always ended up back at wangara Pmx. Store had every model of there range on show except 1 out of there 9 diferent styles… Read more
set up. I was set on the Lincoln z however the cook fancied the top of the range mk2. We have young kids and the second double bed is just perfect! The book said 5 minutes initial setup but upon out first outing it was more like 40 but on our 4th trip in 5 weeks now 5 mins for setup with Anex is a breeze! I do take a step ladder to make the anex easyer. I just chuck it on the boat rack on top. coming from tent camping to this is luxury! Haven’t set up the hot water system which came with the deal yet but looks good! Also came with free solar panel! The trailer itself is an awesome piece of work! Brick [Content Removed] house my dad would say! Storage is accessible set up or in transit which might not seem important but it is! Fridge and kitchen always there if you traveling long distances and don’t set up the main tent! Once set up it’s awsome! Huge inside kids up the back, table and lounge in the middle and the big kids up the front. The 12v lights and led strips inside! Wife did find a sharp corner of flashing on the floor Wich I filled with a bit of silicon. The trailer was listed for 26 000 in the store but it just so happened that the Kalgoorlie camping show was in between purchase and pick up so the lads in wangara matched sale price at show which was awsome!! I know it’s early days but no complaints from the wife or kids and at least now we don’t need caravan parks anymore! Heeps if water and power onboard!!
Poor service and knowledge – Poor after sales service. It was all buddy/mate until The money was received then it all changed. When I questioned the issues I had they didn’t want to know, it was too hard for them. In the end they said that’s what you got deal with it you have a 5 year warranty. Stay clear of these people.
Don't buy these campers – [name removed] was extremely helpful until we made the payment then it was all downhill from there. We picked up our "NEW" camper from PMX to take around Australia in December last year. The connections for the brake lights worked on and off. We were told by a qualified auto electrician there was no negative wire. Cost us $$ to fix. Then the… Read more
trailer brakes locked up on the Nullabor which caused so much damage to the drums, everything needed to be replaced. [name removed] decided we left the handbrake on which wasn't the case at all as we checked everything 3 times before driving anywhere. $2500 later we had it up and running again. Then one of the gas struts broke which caused the camper not to close. So we had to pay for accommodation as the camper was stuffed (it was also xmas so most places were shut). [name removed] did offer a whole new trailer at that point but after spending $2500 for new drums and brakes why would we? Just to have the same problem again, no thanks. We used it everyday and was told again by [name removed] that we mistreated the camper when in fact it just fell apart due to the quality. What a jerk. He also wrote us an email which was nothing but rudeness with all his facts mixed up as he failed to listen in the first place. [name removed] was amazing trying to help where he could but in the end we got a full refund for the trailer. The only reason they did is they knew how bad the campers are in quality I had an Engineer look at it and he said they are really badly designed..So over the xmas period we paid $3000 in accommodation $2500 for the drum replacement $4500 to get the trailer back to Perth on a truck because we couldn't drive it anywhere safely. $2000 in flights back home all which shouldn't have happened in the first place. We were out of pocket thousands of dollars which we never got back either. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy these china made campers unless you do all the research first know an auto electrician and mechanic. I would give no stars if possible.
Exceptional Service from PMX Wangara – Following on from Tank's comments above I experienced similar service at the Wangara branch of PMX Campers. Exceptional service from Greg the manager. A very knowledgeable chap who is happy to spend time with you and answer all your questions.
Great Value Campers, exceptional service – Good selection, not pushy about selling. Listened to all our questions and answered them so us novices could easily understand. From the time we placed order to delivery we were informed on all steps. Nothing was too hard for the staff, even offered to wait after hours when we were picking up. May 18th 2018 Update: Great service. Exceptional… Read more · 1
