Poolbot A100

Probably the worst appliance devised – Spent or should say wasted $499 buying this unit from Robot my Life. Frankly its a terrible appliance. Persevered with it for 12 months cleaning the bottom of our Plungie Rectangular pool of just 2.5 mt x 4.8 mt. No matter what way the front and rear water jets are adjusted, in the two hours of operation it misses areas. The flimsy strip of brush across the bottom of the cleaner does nought. The suction is too weak to pick up sand. The water jets discharges stir up the detritus on the bottom, spreading it throughout the water column where the Poolbot cannot collect it. After 6 months the recovery line rotted and broke required replacement, as did the charge socket pin rubber plug securing line. Separating top from bottom [bottom being the waste tray] requires strength and is awkward to remove and replace. Left in the pool overnight recently and the dial style on /. off switch is now jammed in the on position, so no recharge. Finally its done something worthwhile a real blessing, cannot safely recharge it, its finish with, Review of product completed and now a real dilemma, who owns a pool I dislike so much I would gift them with this A100 Poolbot.
