Failed after well under 10 hrs work – Bought at Mitre 10 over 10 yrs ago and has had very little use. Never overworked when it was run. The blower suddenly lost its "blow" and on inspection the impeller (plastic) has warped & is loose of the impeller shaft. & now NO SPARE PARTS can be found anywhere! Not recommended

Good – A really cost effective light-medium duty domestic blower. Make sure you get your petrol /oil ratio right every fill as well as keeping the filter clean or replaced. This should last for hundreds of hours of use. If not, chuck it out and buy another for $98.00. Too easy Very neat intersection between price, reliability and performance. A direct… Read more

copy of the legendary commercial Shindaiwa EB-260, this Pope, at $98.00 on special at Big W was less than a fifth of the equivalent Shindy price and about 2/3rds the quality. Plenty powerful 2 stroke with 250 km/hr of blowing speed. Takes Shindaiwa, Morrison and Kaaz air filters. After about 75 hours of use, I had to file and reset the spark plug gap, clean out the carby and degrease the air filter. Minimum maintenance costs. Forget the vaccuum option. It hardly sucks up anything. If you need to vaccuum anything better to buy a purpose specific unit. Its pretty loud at full throttle....put your earplugs in. Vibration is pretty bad. This eventually loosens a lot of the assembly screws, especially the one holding down the air filter cover. Make sure your clothing doesn't block the air inlet as it will stall the engine, flood and be difficult to start again. Don't be too heavy handed with the starter cord. The pawl in the recoil starter mechanism is a bit fragile and can fail. Its a costly little part.

Dead after less than 100hrs work, looked after meticulously, bore chrome failed catastophically – This blower was bought from bunnings for around $160 at the time. I have half a dozen other two stroke machines some of which are worked much harder than this thing and never have any other problems. I always use premium fuel and good oil. doesnt make sense that this thing has let go so easily. lining in bore has lifted from casting causing poor… Read more

compression and excessive piston wear. Quality of this part is very poor.

Adelaide when working was very affective It was not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. dissapointed that it has failed so soon

Will not rev enough to create enough suction to pick up leaves.

Very Strong Blower – Really cheap at around $100 from Big W, and does an excellent job of blowing leaves off the driveway. At this price it is a real bargain. Cheap with a really strong air current (cyclone strength!). Noisy (like most blowers), so ear plugs are a good idea.

Not impressed – Bought mine May 2009 been good til the other day. It won't start, the ignition coil died. Unit was only used once a month. Love how these things die not long after there out of warranty. Was a good relible machine til the other day. Ignition coil shat itself, no spark.
