Not worth the extra money – I bought a pope jumbuck hose for the 7 kink rating, it is horrible, kinks and twists all the time. With arthritic hands I thought this hose might be easier to handle, but no. Don't waste your money on this hose.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse.
I have not kept my docket from 3 years ago and no, I'm not going to trawl through Bunnings purchases on my bank statements as the hose most probably would be amongst other purchases. Ridiculous suggestion. I will be buying a different brand.
Don't Waste Your Money – My 10 y.o. hose had weakened through general use and had multiple kinks along its length. I bought a Pope Jumbuck due to its advertised resistance to kinking and was happy to pay the extra for peace of mind. I bought one for my sister as a house warming present as well. Silly me. After only a couple of months use the hose is even more badly kinked than the one it replaced. The kinks are one thing, but when mounted on a hose reel the hose becomes coiled so tightly that it cannot be used. I've tried leaving it uncoiled under warm sun to 'relax' as directed in the instructions but to no avail. Wish I'd kept the Bunnings receipt as this product is not fit for purpose.

We no longer stock this product, but we have replaced it with the Legacy hose (https://www.popeproducts.com.au/hoses/18mm-legacy18-garden-hose). Do you have your proof of purchase - a bank statement if you paid by credit/debit card? If so, you can return the faulty hose to Bunnings and get a refund or a replacement Legacy hose.

Hi Phil, Thank you for the update. We didn't have a 20m hose in the Jumbuck, so it is possibly the 15m Jumbuck 18, which retailed at $74.90. The other size was 30m which cost $114 at Bunnings.

Kinking! – I bought the jumbuck 18mm mainly for its minimal kinking. It kinks all the time! And so hard to fix them. Very disappointed. What is the story? I feel ripped off. Bought it from Bunnings today but cannot see me ever using it. Will have to try another brand. ......

Misled – I purchased what I believed to be a very good 30 metre garden hose for our bush property with a 7 kink resistance. What a joke. It kinks in several places and I am forever returning to the point of obstruction and unable to continue watering. I paid $114 at Bunnings and have been misled by both Pope and Bunnings. Very annoyed.

Hi Donna, I'm so sorry to hear that your not satisfied with the hose. There is a 15 year guarantee on this hose, so if you still have your receipt or proof of purchase, (if you paid with card you can use your bank statement as proof), you are entitled to a replacement or refund at the place of purchase.
