Bad mechanic – Procheck Automotive is without doubt the poorest excuse for a mechanic shop on the coast. The owner well I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. I would highly recommend you take your hard earned money elsewhere unless you like burning money for no reason. Show details

Biggest bunch of muppets – Biggest bunch of muppets I've ever come across. Don't go to them!!!! They didn't do the job properly and lied to our face about it. They left our car in such a bad shape that we had to take our car to another mechanic to fix his mess. We knew there was something wrong with his tune, but didn't know the scale of it until we took it to another… Read more

tuner. Procheck didn't even do a proper tune and the dyno sheet wasn't real. Absolutely disgusted in the quality of service. Happily took our money for a service that was not provided and left our 4wd in such a terrible state. So disappointed.

Great service and professionalism – I couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism that I received with my car service I fully recommend them, they even supplied me with a loan car which was really appreciated.

Overbilling customers – If I can give a negative star, I would. Won’t own up to their stuff ups. Just strung us along and left us hanging after spending time calling them. Won’t use this company anymore. Won’t recommend it. Customer service is poor and they are overbilling customers. My husband requested for a $300 fixed price servicing, as we have been getting a… Read more

fixed price - over the phone. The girl at their head office [name removed] prepared a work order for a 300,000km service instead (this is what she said). The mechanic [name removed] from Caloundra, turned up and proceeded to do the work without discussing what work he was going to perform - a 300,000km service and my car has only about 127,000km (that the mechanic has noted). The work done didn't warrant the charges. We were charged over $300 for labour for a work done in an hour. They claim, they have a call out fee - they are mobile mechanic for crying out loud.

If you want quick reliable service/repairs to your door 10/10 price – Got a service done on a old Mitsy 2006 diesel 4wd, was considering updating as had done over 350000ks and starting to sound like a bucket! and Mitsubishi Service had said it would cost a few K to fix, Tim went over the car fully and we now have the most silent driving 4wd for around $800 bucks. Was completely stunned at how he took the time to… Read more

Great same day service – We needed a Safety / Roadworthy Certificate for a car I am putting up for sale and found PROCHECK AUTOMOTIVE. The mechanic was very helpful and gave advice on what we should do to the car pre sale. He charged only $100 for certificate and because he comes to your home or workplace, it made the process so stress and hassle free. totally recommend 100% 0421 048 618
