Proma Air Conditioners
4 reviews
I purchased a proma air conditioner and I noticed it had a fault in it eversince I purchased it. The warranty and the company are lies and no good. I even got a licensed installer to install the air conditioner.
it worked. but – very incapable after sales response. Returned a portable A/C after it wasn't drawing water from the store tank. They couldn't troubleshoot and repair. Has to pick up and managed to repair it myself. it worked ok after that.
Nothing fancy, but it works as expected – I've only had the unit (PRO-32T, 3.2kw/12,000BTU) a few weeks, but so far it performs as expected. It's quiet (both the indoor and outdoor unit) and seems reasonably efficient (uses only 3.8A with outdoor air temp approx 35 degrees Celsius). Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far I'm happy with it.
Avoid – No after sales service. Discontinued models no spare parts available. Cheaper to purchase initially but only lasted 3 years. Avoid.
