Absolutely Unacceptable, Borderline Scam This is hands down one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had with an online retailer. I ordered a jacket and pants from Proviz. Despite being told my order qualified for free shipping, I was still charged $40 CAD. Annoying, but I assumed it was a mistake that would be resolved easily. That… Read more

assumption was wrong.

The jacket arrived too small, and what followed was a masterclass in how to offload all responsibility and cost onto the customer while hiding behind automated emails and bureaucratic nonsense.

To exchange a jacket for the correct size, Proviz requires international customers (Canada, Australia, NZ, etc.) to:    •   Pay to ship the item back to the UK    •   Register the return within a strict 14-day window    •   Manually email tracking numbers, receipts, and order details    •   Accept zero responsibility if the package is lost    •   Wait until they decide whether you qualify for a refund    •   Then re-order the same item and pay another $40 CAD shipping fee

This means customers are forced to pay shipping THREE TIMES: 1. Original shipping (even when it was supposedly “free”) 2. Return shipping to the UK 3. Shipping again to receive the correct size

In my case, this totals roughly $120 CAD in shipping just to exchange a jacket. That is outrageous.

Their return instructions openly admit that international returns are “not automated” and that refunds will not be issued unless you jump through every hoop perfectly—registering, shipping on time, emailing tracking, and providing receipts. Miss a step? No refund. Lost parcel? Not their problem. Slight delay? Too bad.

Customer support is effectively nonexistent. I emailed four times and received nothing but canned, AI-generated responses that did not address my situation at all. No human accountability. No reasonable solution. No effort to make things right.

This is not how legitimate, customer-focused companies operate. The policies are punitive, predatory, and clearly designed to discourage returns altogether—especially for international customers.

Proviz markets itself as a premium brand. The reality is a company that hides behind rigid policies, charges excessive shipping, and leaves customers footing the bill for their own mistakes.

Avoid Proviz if you live outside the UK. If something doesn’t fit—or if anything goes wrong—you’ll pay dearly for it.

I bought a cycling gilet and the first time I washed it (in a cold wash, front loader) all of the lining tore. There were no washing instructions on the garment. When I complained to Provis they said it was too bad and I should have checked their website for washing instructions. Very poor quality product and even poorer customer service.

Got their backpack. It's very shiny but the zips break too easily.

Cheap zips spoil the product I bought Classic Men's Softshell Cycling Jacket, SKU: PV2274, Size M, Colour Yellow for over $135 in March 2023. I had only worn it 20-30 times in the middle of winter. The zip has failed - it was cheap and always a problem. When I contacted Proviz they only offer a 3-month warranty - that is a breach of the consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act.

Not worth the money – Bought a running jacket. Rather expensive really but thought it was good quality. Had it for just over twelve months and barely used and the zipper broke. I contacted Proviz and no warranty.

Pathetic !!! – I bought an item from Proviz Sports on 21 April, the next day on 22 April they sent me an email with the order and Royal mail tracking number. I checked it out and there was the information below: Cleared and awaiting international departure LANGLEY (GB) Wed 22 Apr 11:46am Received item from Sender (Outbound) UNITED KINGDOM Wed 22 Apr 3:43am … Read more

It has been six weeks now from the date of the purchase; I have been checking every week the Royal Mail tracking number provided to see where my item is but no more updates at all for the first 5 weeks.

I emailed Provitz and the answer is always the same: There are major delays in the delivering process.

I understand that there are delays in delivering online purchases but to me, in this case, it seems to be a joke; I have been reading reviews from people that bought stuff from Proviz Sports and everyone is receiving their purchases on time with no complaints at all. If my purchase would have been effectively sent then it should be updates posted about the transit of my item, but there were none at all until 19 May.

I've checked again on 19 May and FINALLY, there was an update in my order....but guess what?

It was the same thing I read five weeks ago

Most recent update Cleared and awaiting international departure

LANGLEY (GB) Date & time Tue 19 May 8:46am Leaving

So Provitz Sports...what does it mean? Is this a joke? Shouldn't you contact your delivery company and ask them what is going on with my purchase?

Great Reflective Jacket – I spotted these products online quite some time ago, but with not being able to try it on, lenore reviews and the cost, i was reluctant. After a few months, i gave in. Haha. I purchased a blue reflective proviz jacket and it is really good! The price is probably more than i would have liked (maybe AU$150 would be more suitable)... but i keep… Read more

telling myself you can't really put a price on your safety. I bought it for cycling, but lovely I'll use it for walks too. It is waterproof and this, is plasticky... but i haven't tested it for its breathability yet. Great reflectivity, comfortable and feels to be good quality.
