Do we have anything under zero? – Guys, please do not buy any item from this This company pullman there is no part I’ve been waiting for months email them contact them no Pick Up email them no response. My vacuum is lost. I want to buy it from them but I cannot find. I try from Alibaba cannot find it. I try with selling part. He said sorry don’t have why should we buy something? I don’t have. Can’t undo water cap – I bought this many years ago and put it away as had trouble opening top of water tank. I thought it was my inabilities. I have thrown it out today as realise it was not me, it was the defective cap that I could neither open or close successfully. Show details
Fell apart – I picked it up using the handle and the whole yellow top lifted off and as it fell onto the floor and smashed, it smashed into a million pieces. I'm too poor to afford another one and i have failed to find a lid via spare parts anywhere!
Love it – Love this machine. It's super easy to use and I love that you don't need to use chemicals. We only use it for floors and to clean our daughters toys. The cord is soooo long which is helpful. Doesnt take to long to heat up which is also a bonus. Show details
should of recalled this item ,with so many of same complaints – the lights go on that is where it ends,no steam comes out actually nothing comes out, never buy pullman again, waste of money and time, bought it from someone who said it has not been used .from reviews i now no why.takes to long to heat up,and to cool down,as i said read manual did all it said ,but apart from lights working to say ready for use… Read more
,after waiting so long ,then nothing,a total waste of money,i would tell no one to buy this product or anything from pullman. This should of been recalled with all the complaints.disgusting it was not
so disappointed – I used this system for 7 weeks and then it would not switch on or send steam down to the mop head I feel ripped off as I like using steam to clean very very upset the manufacturer needs to address the problems and should refund money as I was given the system I have no receipt so what do I do now ????
Piece of krap – Iron steam soaks the clothes, the floor steamer is unremarkable and the on off button stopped working I have to press it 50 to 100 times (I count) to get it on..if I'm lucky, not surprised it was discontinued a rip off and it makes you think more than twice trusting buying this brand again.
Cannot find one job it does better than conventional methods – Like another reviewer, I got mine for free from a friend who had no use for it. So I'm not defending a purchase. I'm not sensitive to chemicals, so that aspect does not apply. 1. It is an expensive appliance to buy, and also to run - 1600 watts. This is up there with toasters and heaters. Seems a lot of electricity just to do some cleaning… Read more
in an age when we care about LED lights replacing incandescent ones . The power cuts out and back in according to thermostat of course, so overall power use would be lower than 1600 watts. But it took 15 minutes to be "ready".
2. The steam which emerges quickly becomes water - so it's a wetness producing appliance and you need plenty of absorbent cloth handy. I used a chamois mop to dry off.
3. Not a substitute for chemical cleaning on ovens for example. The steam does not dissolve baked on grease, like Sellys oven gel(eg) does. Does not shift mould in showers either.
4. Can't be refilled until cool. After the 50 minutes(maximum, but often less) of steam are used up, you'll want to continue, but cannot, because it can't be safely opened and refilled until cool. You have to "wait" another 20 minutes.
5. You have to have clean water - Brisbane water is full of dissolved solids ( about 200 ppm) and this will cause it to clog with lime deposits. Unlikely you will want to buy litres and litres of clean water at Coles. Then you will still have to treat it with lime deposit dissolvers like CLR.
6. It does not seem to have a single use in which it does better than cloths and chemical products.
7. Anything like a bicycle cannot be cleaned with this appliance because packed grease in sealed bearings will heat up and run out.
8. I'm still trying to think of an application for this clever device.
Works well but have no further use for it. Son is carpet cleaner!!!!! Worth buying tho – Great machines. Only used 3 times but more than happy with performance. Was given to us a present and appreciated it at the time, but my partners son has now bought a carpet cleaning business so guess we have no further use, as he will do all for none!! Very happy with our experience with it tho. Easy to use and efficient Nil that we could see Show reply
After sale service – I have been trying to find a number to call for spare parts. There is nothing listed in my book.up until now it has done a wonderful job . That you don't need chemicals Bad warranty service Show 11 replies
Leave it on the show room floor – It has an appropiate colour scheme - lemon and black. We got it home and read all the instructions very carefully, most unusual in this house. After an hour fired it up and it worked well although it did seem to run out of steam quickly. Turned it off, cooled down and drained. A week later it would not turn on. Back to the dealer and away it… Read more
went. It was repaired and returned two weeks latter.
Same again. Worked the first time. Would not turn on the second time. Back to the dealer. After another week the verdict was it will be replaced by the new model due for release shortly.
Three weeks and still waiting.
What could be improved? A sight/level glass for the water. A self winding power lead
Expensive, supposedly top of the range. Very long power lead but no where to store it. We were told the contacts were loose/dirty.
Ripped off Entirely – Well, worked great on two occasions. Then the 3rd time, it obviously went on vacation. Lights on, steam ready and..........nothing. Difficult to answer. Maybe, cleaned well the 2 times it was used - but a very expensive cleaning bill. Like others who had the 'experience', too expensive to fix, the retailer (Godfrey's) didn't want to know about it, but quite happy to try and sell me something else. Never, ever again Pullman or Godfrey's.
Takes the effort out of cleaning – I bought this machine after realising that the chemicals I was using to clean my bathroom (bam) and stove (stove cleaner in a can) was causing me health problems (asthma). Other, cheaper machines like the ones they shown on the infomercials, didn't work (tried the Kenwood steam mop) so I decided to get a more heavy duty machine. I was a… Read more · 1
little hesitant to buy this machine due to it's hefty price tag ($400+) but we managed to score a deal with Godfrey's (discount + free extended warranty + extra cleaning pads), so we ended up paying around $380.
I was really impressed with the way it cleans my stainless steel stove top - takes off baked on grease and grime - you have to constantly wipe up the water it squirts onto the stove but it eliminated the need for the oven cleaner (about 95%) of the time.
It cleans the shower OK as well but when cleaning tiled floors, it does use a lot of water, leaving the floor quite wet (like you actually used a mop). Takes about the same amount of time to dry as mopping.
It cleans a large area with a small amount of water - I can clean the kitchen, meals, passageway and laundry tiles easily with one tank (around 700mL of water).
I would have liked a more abrasive pad to clean the floor/tiles but it only comes with one that is machine washable but is more like a toughened rag - it does remove dirt but mot heavy duty dirt!
I haven't used the iron as I am concerned about the amount of water it actually uses on the items themselves and am worried that the clothes would become wet, so this attachment will most likely stay in the box!
The major con is the risk of burns from the extremely hot water that comes out of the nozzle...one of the attachments came apart from the pressure gun when I used it for the first time, while cleaning my stove and it scolded my hand quite badly (needed ice pack on it for more than 8 hours!!) and more recently, while cleaning the shower, I was crouching down while changing one of the attachments and accidentally rested the gun on my leg and the end of it touched my stomach and I got burnt again!
If the surface you are wanting to clean is not really that dirty, then this machine is excellent for the job, however, if the surface has not been cleaned properly in the past and would usually require scrubbing to get it clean, then this machine would only do about a 50% job on that surface.
My oven door glass was particularly dirty and I had tried many different cleaning products without success. I was hoping that this machine would get the glass clean as I was told it would do something like this by the sales assistant but I was disappointed when it refused to clean it like I expected - in the end, we had to take the door apart and soak the glass in sugar soap for a few hours which finally did the job!
Overall, it is a fantastic machine for those who have asthma, like me, (or skin conditions) and are unable to use harsh chemicals, BUT just bear in mind that you would have to use it regularly if you want it to clean really well. No need to use chemicals Attachments have tendency to detach with pressure leading to burns if not careful & expensive

As bad as the infomercial ones – I received one of these units "free" with a Wertheim vacuum system I bought from Godfreys. I had tried cheaper units and they did nothing, so I had high hopes for this expensive unit. What a waste of time, it does nothing to the grout in the shower - had to bleach the mould away, did nothing to the oven door - in fact it made it look worse, and it… Read more
is useless on the exterior windows. Everything it is supposed to do it doesn't. That I didn't pay anything extra for it Overpriced, under featured, plagued with design and performance defects
Useless steamer – I use the mop attachment and by the time it gets to the floor it has no effect on dirt etc, useless. Does not work, tiles and bathroom still as dirty as, no water level, takes forever to heat up
IT'S GREAT! – When I moved into my house, the floor tiles were excessively dirty. Extremely filthy! No cleaning product would work or get rid of the grim, except the steamer. We did have to use the small nozzle and go tile by tile but thats how bad our tiles were. Its great for cleaning your grout and bringing it back to the original colour. You can also use it to clean your kids toys. Does what it is meant too. No retractable cord.
Terrible – Certainly would not recommend it to any of my friends, as serviceable parts not available, should be removed from the market place I did not like Steam comes out but no real pressure certaimly wom't clean your car motor , very weak in the pressure area, just money wasted never buy one, also no available mechanical parts as spares, impossible to find even on the Internet, pressure control hopeless
Terrible – If it is going to leave everything that wet, then i might as well just throw a bucket of water over the floor and be done with it. As for being hygenic, not if leaves the floor looking like an ocean, bacteria breeds in water. Difficult to use to with a lead dragging along behind you. I like its ease of use and it's versatility Leaves the floors… Read more
wet for ages, and refuses to move anything heavy of the floors. Not game to try it on my couch, or anything fabric Certainly not what the store told me it would do.
OK – Happy with no chemicals or detergent. But bathroom and toilet still not great cleaning. Overall pleased. I got it still in box for $200 so can't really complain. Think I would not be happy if I had paid retail (around $450??) Cleans tile floors beautifully. Can feel the difference under your feet. happy with window cleaning gadget as well. … Read more
Cleaned all grout off with copper brush. really happy with clean floors with no chemicals. No retractable cord. Bother to pack. No water level indicator - have to guess when you are running low. When I used the steam iron, seemed to run out of steam REALLY fast. Not worth the effort. Not happy with the way it cleaned (not) bathroom walls. Maybe mine was particularly grimey? Doubt it.
Good – This is a great cleaner if you are willing to put in the effort after vacuuming or mopping. Its a bonus to know that your floors are practically germ free. And it certainly takes the struggle out of scrubbing and cleaning the bathroom. The Pullman provides for a great clean. I use it in the bathroom, where I think it makes a huge difference. Its… Read more
great for getting soap scum out of the grout in the shower and cleaning the shower screens with ease. I also used it to peel off unwanted wallpaper in a renovation project. The extension parts have a tendency to pop apart with the pressure, which could be dangerous.
OK – great product until it died. I was using it possibly 1 to 2 hours a week and lasted just over 12 months. So will get probably 75-100hours before it craps itself I agree with the last message posted. Was really great while it worked. And never had a problem leaving the floors 'streaky'.... Yes broke down after about 12-15months....will cost to much to fix. so pretty much 'disposable'
Good – Have only just got my steam cleaner, first the steam emitting through the pad is good, I had my reservations at first but am happy with the output, the steam wand for pressing is a ok. Cleaning with the nozzle in window frames was a breeze. Can only try the other options as needed. the steam iron, it is narrower than most models and I like that,… Read more

We use it on our couches with no problem. My friend used it on her leather boots.
