Quinny zapp xtra 2 – Paid full price for this thinking it would be amazing but I am so disappointed I wish I had not bought it. As lovely as it looks it feels so flimsy I was actually convinced it was broken somewhere until I read other reviews on and others said the same thing. Folding down is not to bad, and there is no space in the basket or to hang handbag etc. As… Read more
for attaching a buggy board to it, I don't feel safe using it as my son has to hold on to side of pushchair which as mentioned before is so flimsy it feels like it will snap. Defiantly would not recommend this pushchair especially as they are very very over priced for what feels like an absolute waste of money.
Love love love – This stroller has been an absolute delight to push its light and easy to move around even on the grass without extra effort. And compact, wow, easy to store and i have much needed space back in my car boot, the versitilty of being able to lay toddler down to sleep and cover with canopy with such a small light weight travel system makes a parents… Read more
trip out that little bit easier! Couldn't be happier with our new quinny Zapp xtra would highly recommend.
The perfect compact pram – I have had 9 pram since my 3 yr old was born and the quinny zapp xtra has finally covered all that I needed in a pram. It light and compact but still is comfy and suitable for my 3 yr old and 7 month old. I wish I had of found this before I wasted money on the others. I found the quinny customer service extremely helpful with all my enquiries and can't recommend them enough
Good second pram – Bought Quinny Zapp Xtra as our second pram. I wanted something light and compact for a travel. My 7-month-old sleeps in it happily and my 3-year-old (14.5kg) fits in it too. The seat is a two-way facing which is quite handy as I like seeing my kids. The seat fully reclines so my baby can sleep comfortably. The seat is not padded it is like a… Read more
hammock.
I was worried how manoeuvrable it was before I used it. It is easy to handle. As the pram doesn't have large air wheels, it gets stuck with small debris. The handle feels flimsy. The basket is not large however because of the shape of the basket and chassis, you can load more than you expect.
On the flat surface, (eg: shopping centre) it is just perfect. It is not too bulky and still manoeuvrable, great for shopping. Easy to fold/unfold and put it in a car boot. I am sure it will be no problem for travelling.
I still prefer using a larger and more stable pram as my main use however overall I am happy with Zapp Xtra.
Love is in the air – Best buy ever...my super Zapp Xtra Quinny. Very good advice and presentation from the Maxi Cosy staff. My daughter wouldn't leave the pram! Very light and easy to use.I had to get it! Recommending to everyone! Thank you for passing on your passion about your brand. Kim from Victoria My daughers love it (3,5yo and 3,5months old)
Quinny zapp xtra – Got this for my almost 2 year old. Felt very flimsy and not sturdy. During first use my daughter tipped it. I relisted it for sale the same day. Its lightweight which is great, but that comes at a cost if you have a horror like me- would be perfect for a good baby, but for an attempted escape artist that kicks about its not sturdy enough. The way… Read more
to fold it is painful in comparison to most other brands. The seat is a great size and the small fold of the frame makes it less likely to get dinged up being lifted in and out of boots. But the handles didn't feel secure, and the stroller didn't feel secure in comparison to my Emma, strider or even bug. but it looks great on the plus side! Nive big seat with easily cleaned fabrics, small fold Tips easy, hard to access basket. rediculous folding!!!
Repair – Not good!! my quinny zapp xtra was sent for repair via toys r us norwich , repair was done but when I revieced it back it was not in my original box and they didn't sent my instructions back , a large stratch was in the handle and also had oil all over seat as they packed it with front when off , I have contacted them stating all my issues and… Read more
they replyed to start with and now I have asked for new seat cover they haven't replayed for 2 weeks . Wouldn't recommend quinny to any one . Faces both ways Customer service won't reply to my issues raised after being returned to me after repair worse than sent .
Good shopping stroller with lots of great features – I have been through four prams and strollers so when going to buy I knew exactly what I wanted. The Quinny Zapp Xtra seemed to tick all the boxes, with the help of a very enthusiastic sales person! I wanted compact, lightweight, easy fold, good storage basket/pockets, large sunshade and reverse option if possible. As with most things, you… Read more
really don't know if its going to suit you until you've used it for a little while in 'real life', not just wheeled it around the shop a few times!
Firstly, contrary to the assurance of the sales person, this stroller is not suitable for anything but smooth floors. Your baby will suffer an incredibly bumpy and unpleasant ride if you try even sealed roads. It does push nicely in the shops as long as you use two hands. One handed pushing is made difficult due to the handles as opposed to one handle bar. The storage basket underneath is very small and has a chassis bar running through the centre which makes it even less functional, but because of that it folds down to a very small unit. I really miss a pocket for my keys and phone etc. Because of the handles you can't really hand a handbag on the back and without a decent size basket you have to carry your bag. Only the lightest shopping can be hung on the handles.
I do not like the braking system. I have found I need to keep pressing the brake with my foot to make sure its on as sometimes the pram can still be pushed a bit when you have put the brake on. I therefore son't trust it and always wear the wrist strap.
Others have said the fold is tricky, but like most prams once you get the hang of it its not hard, just time consuming. But the trade off is that once folded it is so small and light and takes up next to no room in the boot.
It's a modern looking stroller that is suitable from birth. I bought mine in Australia and I got the Maxi Cosi capsule adaptors with it. I would recommend the stroller as long as its intended for indoor use only. If you are someone who likes to walk outdoors with your baby, this will not suit. Lightweight, compact fold, large sunshade, reversable seat, 3 position recline, sold with good accessories. Only suitable for indoors/smooth surface, brakes not strong enough, can't push with one hand, very small shopping basket, no storage pocket.
Good – overall i love my quinny zapp xtra.. due to its reclinable, reversable, roomy seat. and can be used from newborn so i dont need to buy a bassinet. hope next time they can make a new model of zapp xtra which i can attach the quinny buzz box underneath. hehehe.. i love the prams from quinny.. -reversable,reclineable,more roomy and cushioned seat … Read more
-very wide sun canopy

-suitable from newborn to 20kilos max
-Fully reclineable that's why its suitable for new born.

perfect for me :) – i have had about 7 prams/strollers in the past 4 yrs from beema-phil and teds(x2)-steelcraft(x2)-bebe care-peg perego (i think thats all from memory)....each with their own pro's and cons.... in this stroller i was looking for: 1. a very compact fold (the adapatbility of squeezing it into a fully packed holiday boot is great, esp with it… Read more
coming away in 2 small parts)
2. light weight to lift into/out of boot
3. light to push (and the zapp xtra amazed me here...its soooo light)
4. super large hood (i loooove how huge the hood is, and bub loves to lay comfy and reclined and stare out the side clear panels at the world passing him by)
5. and reversable (now this is just a luxury but a lovely one for sure)
my favourite features of the stroller are...
the hood, the super lightweight push (i cant feel he dif pushing my 11mth old and my 4yr old its so light) and the comfy bucket seat (with it bubs doesnt slip down in the seat)
least favourite (and really im struggling to come up with anything here)...
small basket which is hard to access (though the sides sort of flop out enough that i can fit 2 small grocery bags inside)
2 part fold...tricky to learn and takes a smidge longer to do (though on the flip side it makes it easy to slot into the boot as an afterthought when its jam packed)
and the tiny wheels (i guess here the point is that i was looking for a stroller with perks not a jogger. if the wheels were bigger it would be a bigger fold and be heavier which kind of defeats the purpose) i can go comfortably on grass and moun kerbs...gravel however like all strollers is a no go.
overall a fantastic stroller! i would love to see quinny produce a suitable baby bag for it and compatible liners. every stroller is different and each family has its onw needs from a stroller...for me this one ticks all of the boxes for this stage in my 'baby pushing' years :) lightweight push, huuuge hood, comfy seat 2 part fold (though i find it works in our favour), small wheels (like all strollers)
Nice and Easy – great pram to use on holidays or quick shopping trips ! can be a little hard to get use to but once you've "got it" its nice! i only used it for 2 months and didnt like it anymore though! not good for walking small awesome with a capsule ! no back support and straps are too long..
Excellent – Great little pram with large seat for my chunky monkey Was the best thing with European up to 13 kg Maxi-Cosi car seat (what a waist of time is up to 9 kg car seats - would last at most couple months...) If you import it from Europe you get maxi-cosi adaptors included and it is much cheaper Now its a great shopping pram , I do have all… Read more
day lay-flat off road pram, but this one is great for short trips
