reinforced with 2 slat to floor supports. There have been no issues with the frame or sagging The edge of the mattress: it is firm and supports when sitting to put on socks etc. hasn't changed. It's good Temperature: I am a very warm sleeper. This mattress has been great. Not hot at all Comfort: it is insanely comfortable. Changes: there hasn't been any noticeable change to comfort, support, etc Pillows: we got both types, both great and still using them. Won't go back to other materials Value: I think this need is very good value as it's main competition is other latex models or Tempur. Spring mattresses just are not on the same level of comfort and longevity. Would I buy it again: absolutely and wish I had done so 20 years earlier. Final thoughts: I was tossing all night and woking up sore in my body for years thinking I was getting old and that's just the way it was going to be. Not anymore.

I put this together with my daughters assistance. She's very fussy re mattresses'. No drama to set it up and NO chemical smell. As soon as we finished we both reached for a pillow for a bed completion nap. The mattress is so very comfortable and supportive. I've had fantastic sleep from night 1. Best night's sleep in ages – Purchased the Hybrid mattress with half each firm and medium top layer. Took a couple of nights sleep and then had the best nights sleep in ages. The best mattress I have ever laid on – I learnt about Quokka beds after my colleague told me about them being local to Perth and after doing extensive research on low tox beds. that has all the certifications, when I laid on the hydbrid bed I fell asleep in the showroom in 5 minute!s! Coming from a pocket spring mattress to a latex mattress has been a breeze with the hybrid mattress, my back hasn’t been as sore and my sleep has been perfect. I’ve even had my friends test it out on the other side (I got it split) and only good things have been said! The mattress is more expensive than others up front but lasts double the amount of time so much cheaper in the long run and less wasteful. Quokkas customer service was outright the best customer service I have ever experienced, and maybe that’s the beauty of them being a family owned business, they clearly love and believe their product and want to help people. I highly recommend Quokka as a company for their service and the Hybrid mattress for other plush princes and princesses like me who need that additional support/are used to springs. I’ve only had the mattress for a few months now and so it’s too early to comment on durability - but my colleague told me she’s had hers for 10 years and it’s still good as new which is a great indicator!

Beyond expectations – Love this Quokka hybrid latex mattress. Chose the king size medium density (medium on top of firm). Perfect support and comfort. pressure points on hips and shoulders. The only thing that wakes me up is the dog wanting to go outside for a wee. When looking for a hybrid latex mattress it was very difficult to find one that was the right depth so as to fit in with our bed base, existing bedroom furniture and in particular our bedside tables. The Quokka mattress being 33cm deep is perfect while some brands are only 24cm deep and have only half the thickness of latex as the Quokka mattress. Assembly was relatively easy with excellent instructions and video but would suggest having two people present particularly with the king size mattress.
