Radiant Brilliant Whites Sharper Colours

Bought this on special and have used it on well worn and washed sheets. I only wash in cold water and the colours on these sheets have never run. When I washed with this liquid on a cold cycle the colours ran and stained the machine as well. Seems to clean okay though. Show details

Horrible – Absolutely terrible bought it on special and even for a mark down price of $11 it was a waste of money to say the least, my honest opinion you'd get a better wash with water it has no smell and did nothing but suds up hopefully didn't wreck my machine! Caused contact dermatitis – I recently bought this product. The clothes & sheets I've washed in it have caused contact dermatitis for myself & my partner. 3/4 of a bottle remaining was thrown in the bin. Don't buy. Show details

Must be a new formula - now it's like water – We have used Radiant for at least 10 years. Switched to another brand for a year then back to Radiant. They must have changed the formula. It has a viscosity not much thicker than water now and it smells unpleasant. It used to be quite thick and with a nicer smell. Below average – I'm going to have to agree with the other reviews . The first time I used it the radiant advanced liquid mixture bottle was alright. Next thing I know he Took out the dye From My jumper And Made the patch a white colour. Watered down and useless – When I open the bottle it was like water with just enough detergent to make bubbles in the bottle - not like the detergent itself which should be thick and viscous with no bubbles. It is deceptive and doesn’t work for its purpose.  Show details

Watery and useless – Like cloudy water, not as good as the original by any means. No body to the liquid . Not good at all. been retailing at $9.00. I wrote to the manufacturer who claimed that "we have recently relaunched our Radiant range with an improved formulation and new packaging. The formulation has been upgraded, with more active ingredients and fragrance as well as a fresh new look. As part of this change, the recommended retail price (RRP) for our products has also been updated". However there appears to be little difference between the product in the 4 litre container as to that in the 2 litre container. Even the amount of product to be used in the wash is the same. I wrote back to the manufacturer and expressed my dissatisfation with the answer and pointed out that their formulation did not appear to have been upgraded with more active ingredients and fragrance which justified the 100% increase in the retail price since both the 4 litre and 2 litre have what appears to be identical ingredients, such as Anionic and non-ionic surfactants, alkalis, enzymes, fragrance, optical brightener, dye transfer inhibitor and polymer. I also pointed out that the recommended amount to add to my washing machine is the same for both the old 4 litre and the new 2 litre which means it is now costing twice as much to do the same amount of washing. The answer that came back was "the 2L and 4L pack sizes are the same product but available in different volumes. They have the same ingredients and dosage. The 2L pack size is not a replacement for the 4L bottle. This has been replaced with the new 4L Eco Box with an RRP of $24 but $16 on special". A little while later I found the Eco 4 litre Radiant Laundry Liquid on the shelves of my local supermarket (I must admit I was not looking for liquid packed in a box) but it still does not explain why the 2 litre has doubled in price from $9.00 to $18.00 given there is no difference in the product in the old 4 litre pack. How can a 100% increase in the 2 litre price be justified?

Product has changed – I have been using Radiant laundry liquid for a few years without any problems. I bought a bottle in my weekly shop and when I opened it, it just came out like water. I thought I had picked up a dodgy bottle and even bought another bottle to compare. They were exactly the same - like water! Looks like they have changed their formula. Doesn't clean properly – I found sometimes garments the stain has not been removed and still dirty. I only bought this cusson product when on special as i'd never buy it normally at all. Now i dont buy it at all mainly regarding it does not work as good as other brands that are cheaper.  Show details

Someone spat in the bottle!!! Disgusting – I got to the bottom of the bottom and I felt and heard a lump of some sort when I was pouring the liquid into the spot where you put your detergent, I then realised it was a boogie so someone had obviously spat in the liquid!! Overpowering scented smell of liquid detergent – I was shocked after opening the Radiant Liquid Washing product when the overpowering scent hit me. The clothes retain this sickly smell during & after washing & after the clothes are dry, It is just too strong & quite unpleasant. I would never buy this product again for this reason.  Show details

Caused awful skin rashes – I switched to this washing powder recently and I've been getting these large red patchy rashes appearing on my body which I never had before. My dermatologist said that it's due to a chemical added to some washing powders. Also, the fragrance is overbearing. Show details

For mixed colours – I like this washing powder it's well priced it doesn't clump in my dispenser it washes well it smells nice once the clothes are dried there soft and fresh with a subtle scent. Show details

Allergic reaction – My husband and I both had a really bad allergic reaction to this washing liquid. Horrible itchy hives that lasted for 5 days. It was awful. Neither of us have ever had an issue before with any other brand and dont have sensitive skin. Show details

Warning - dont use on natural coloured linen – Contains an optical brightener that removed the dye in patches on my expensive natural linen sheets. colour is now uniformly lighter which looks better than after the previous wash so have regraded to 2 star rating.

Cleans but – I tried Radient after reading reviews for hours after Dynamo turned in to a disaster. Works Pretty Well! – We switched to using liquid washing detergents after getting sick of powders not dissolving properly and not really washing that well. We gave this one a go because it wasn't that expensive and looked easy to use. The detergent is strong enough not to disappear too quickly and it leaves clothes quite soft, clean and smelling nice. - Has no protection against smellyness or stiffness if your washing gets rained on or stays wet for too long

We have been using this stuff for about 2 months now, it`s a good balance between cost and effectiveness. The dispenser is great! No mess, no fuss!
