Real Nappies Cloth Nappy

Ok nappy – An ok nappy. I liked the versatility of prefolds but wasn't a big fan of these covers ('wraps') After a year of use the nappies have held up well so quality is there. They did seem to hurt my daughters legs though. To get them tight enough that they didn't leak would leave red marks on her legs. I stopped using them because of this.
Our prefold of choice – When we started cloth diapering, we weren't sure whether we would be going the prefold and cover route or AI2 and so we purchased Grovia hybrid shells and snap-ins, but also enough prefolds to diaper full time. We have a pretty heavy wetter to be fair, and I like the real nappies prefolds but my only gripe would be that baby tends to wake up… Read more
because he is feeling wet unless a liner is placed on first. It is very absorbant and baby can comfortably sleep with it for up to 3 hrs (although this would be pushing it) without a diaper change which makes it a great day nappy, but would not cut it for nights. We do bumgenius + hemp insert for that. very soft and gets softer with each wash, dries very quickly, easy to clean not as absorbant as I would like
Super thirsty Prefolds! – Love these prefolds, I have tried everything: bamboo: take ages to dry microfibre: dont like these as not natural hemp: they stink! So was a bit aprehensive about trying cotton, but pleased to say we love them. They dry really fast, wash up well and are so thirsty for mr 7 months. Love em, can;t recommend them enough : ) EVERYTHING! I wish I had found them earlier :)
Great Nappies – I have been using these nappies for 4months now and have found them to be great. I have a large baby so we are almost up to the 3rd size (crawler). But these are great because they are easy to use and wash. So far one insert has been enough even at night when my baby sleeps for 10 hours. I use the size she has out grown as a change mat and to dry… Read more
and wipe her bum. I have other types of cloth nappies but never use them because I prefer these. not very expensive, very absorbent soft and on my babies skin Is a bit bulky
At last a decent prefold nappy! – Really thirsty nappies, 100% cotton so soft against my baby. My baby has severe skin allergies so I can't use any other fabric next to his skin other than cotton. I have tried bamboo, hemp etc but apart from the obvious skin problems they took an age to dry and the hemp ended up being really sticky. These prefold nappies are the best. I have… Read more
used them for ages and the sizes lasted longer than the weight range suggested. My son is a really heavy wetter at night so we popped a newborn prefold on top of his normal one for night time and no wet sheets yay! I use the covers too - needless to say they are fantastic too and breathable for my boy.
Best prefold cloth nappies I have found! – I have tried many types of cloth nappies and these are by far the best. I inherited the old fashioned large cloth flat nappies and used them in my Real Nappies covers and they were pretty good but too bulky on my newborn. I then was tempted by the cheap Chinese prefold nappies - grrr what a shocker, they just didn't absorb anything! Then I… Read more
found Real Nappies prefolds, they are indian cotton and are so soft (you have to wash them a few times before use), they come in 4 sizes so they don't make your kid's behind look huge!
I must admit I was recommended to buy their prefolds by a mate but thought I could prove her wrong lol! How was I was these prefolds have been through 2 kids and I reckon will still be good for my grandchildren!
Plus you can do what you like with them - throw them in the dryer, hang them on the line, hot wash, cold wash, you name it!
I have also found these great as burp clothes, changing mats, you name it! soft, super absorbent, customise for boy or girl, slim fitting, built to last
great choice – Have used the same set now on our third baby! they fit well , quick to dry as compared to pocketnappies the inner can dry quicker as can be hung flat and open out on line-eg fabric is not doubled over. inexpensive
