RenewCo Solar
1 review
It is an unfortunate and it seems unavoidable coincidence that when the State or Federal Governments provide subsidies to an industry there is a proliferation in demand and a drop in consumer focus and service. While appearing to be a well marketed business, RenewCo Solar have demonstrated less that ZERO concern for consumer well-being and customer service, detailed as follows.
1. Proposal of 13 August 2025 for supply installation and commissioning of a solar battery and inverter system returned, signed on 03 September, 2025.
2. Deposit payment of 25% completed to RenewCo on 16 September, 2025.
3. Installation date of 21 November 2025 advised on 24 October 2025.
4. Installation date changed by RenewCo on 20 November, 2025 to 25 November 2025 without consultation. ZERO for customer service.
5. Correspondence sent from myself to RenewCo on 21 and 24 November 2025 in conjunction with multiple phone calls during the same period to confirm the rescheduled date was unable to be accommodated due to a clash with other trades that had been scheduled to work after RenewCo had completed their installation.
6. RenewCo Solar installers were due between 0700 and 0900 on 25 November, but arrived around noon on the day, without any advice that they were delayed. ZERO customer service.
7. RenewCo Solar installers were unaware of my attempts to contact their office and responded when advised that the works were unable to proceed as per item 5 above, that ‘... you are not the only one’. ZERO customer service.
8. No return calls or response to multiple emails received from RenewCo up to midday of 25 November 2025. ZERO customer service.
9. At 12:13, 12:14 and 12:23, calls were received from a Todd W.. the sales representative for RenewCo.
10. Images of the emailed corresponded were sent via SMS to Todd W, who also confirmed on 25 November 2025 that RenewCo had received my earlier correspondence and simply did not read or choose to respond. ZERO customer service.
11. Subsequent to the emails and phone conversations on 25 November 2025, Todd W offered to process a refund in full, which was accepted at that time.
12. Further messages to Todd W confirmed on Monday 01 December 2025 that ‘management’ will get back to me re the timing of the processing of the refund which exceeded several thousand dollars.
13. Message to Todd W on Wednesday, 03 December 2025 and again on Monday 08 December, has been met with NO response from Todd W and NO contact from RenewCo management has been received. ZERO customer service....again.
Could not recommend highly enough that consumers avoid this organisation which based on my experience focused on its own needs and treats its customers with both disregard and contempt.
