Restaurant Cafe Coast

Disappointed,(new owners?) – I recently attended Cafe Coast and agree the surroundings are beautiful.I live close by and have been there before and previously enjoyed my food.I ordered a lamb shank which I have had before and according to the menu came with vegetables.I was disappointed as the shank was very small,very little meat and the vegetables consisted of a thin slice of carrot cut in half and a stem of broccolini , placed on the top.The mash potato was drowned in the gravy which had not had the fat from lamb skimmed off and gave me severe indigestion when I got home.At $33 I did not consider this value for money

Cafe Coast Delight – We had not been to this restaurant before, and we were able to get a booking at the last minute on New Years Eve. What a delightful place, overlooking the water, and the service was beyond good as far as attentiveness, welcoming and all and all first class. Considering that it was NYE and they were fully booked there was not one moment that we felt that we were not being looked after. The food arrived very quickly and it was excellent, my partner was delighted with her choice of Salmon, and likewise my fillet steak was excellent. I have already recommended this venue to friends and hope that they continue with the quality of service and food that we experienced NYE. Keep up the good work
