Recently our heat pump hot water service started running 24 hours a day, using lots of power. We decided to replace it with a Rheem AmbiPower 280e Heat Pump. This was recommended and supplied by the Melbourne Heating and Cooling company which is in Pakenham Victoria. The unit works flawlessly and supplies a great amount of hot water. If fully drained it reheats in approx. 4 hours. The crew from Melbourne heating and cooling did a fantastic job replacing our faulty old unit with the new one from Rheem. Especially as it was an urgent replacement due to old one failing. We even managed to receive a hot water rebate in the Victorian Solar Homes Program. Very impressed with both the new hot water system and the company installing it.

Really good experience from the guys at JR Gas & Water! Was a bit sceptical with the volume of reviews but they are the real deal. Had a good chat with Charlie when I met with him and I think the reason why these guys do so well is that they enjoy their jobs and it shows in their work. Would recommend these guys to anyone. Boys accidentally cut the aircon drain that was going along the old system but you get that with the big jobs. Purchased a "Rheem MDc AmbiPOWER 280L Heatpump Top Mount" for reference.

Best Hot Water System – Installed by JR Gas & Water who did a fantastic job. Heat Pump is the latest model from Rheem and so far has been flawless providing us with nice hot water and a big reduction in our power bills. It is very quiet as well. LCD allows you to set the time of day for the heat pump to run which is great.
