Happy customer

I replaced my old tank with a new Dux model. Started getting rusty water coming through and thought we were better of changing before it died. The new tank has a 10 year warranty. Hoping it lasts even a little longer. Great service from the plumber and a really competitive price.

A good result in the end.

Unit failed after 2.5 years but they sent someone out to fix it.

When it failed I contacted Dux support team for help, but they didn't help at all.

After I posted a negative review their team arranged for a repairman to come and fix the unit as goodwill. He came really quickly and fixed the unit. He was also a really nice guy. We'll see how it goes.

The resolution response was very excellent and has made a much better impression and now I would consider buying Dux again.

I can only improve the rating by 2 because Dux support team were unable to help at first which resulted in a lot of extra hassle for me.

For now, I'm happy and (more importantly) my tenants are happy.

We go to great lengths to ensure our product quality is spot on, including leak testing (under pressure) every cylinder in our Australian manufacturing facility. In this case, something has wrong as happens from time to time. We offer a 10 year tank warranty on this product and will honour this. Replaced the one we had and does a great job for the whole familly

The unit is coping with 4 adults in the house and unless we have gone over board with half a dozen loads of washing and showers it doesn’t run out of hot water. Temp is consistent

Working well

Has been installed for about 3 months. No problems so far. Due to having a 3.6 KW heating element instead of 2.4 Kw element, hot water recovery has been excellent. Was put to the test recently with 4 family members, 3 of them young children, staying for a week or so, there was never any time when hot water was not available after plenty of showers and baths. The unit it replaced was 21 years old and was a 250 litre tank with a 3.6 KW heating element. The new unit being a bit smaller at 160 litres but having the 3.6 KW element I think was a good choice. Installation was straightforward and competently achieved as it was outside the house and under cover

Great product, no problems so far

Very reliable hotwater system

Have just installed our second Dux hotwater system. The first system lasted 12 years of heavy duty use and never let the family down. After checking out all the alternatives decided to go with Dux again due to their competitive prices and proven reliability. We ordered the new unit through Bunnings, who have a well organised arrangement with Dux. The whole replacement procedure was simple, efficient, completed professionally and all at a competitive price. Couldn't be happier!

Fantastic hot water all the time!

DUX, a great hot water system.

I had an electric DUX 250L hot water system that needed replacing. Because it always supplied hot, hot water, I decided to replace it with another DUX. I contacted some plumbers but costs were high, and they were busy. After contacting Bunnings, they efficiently and cheerfully arranged a morning for the system to be installed, quickly. Excellent service and excellent hot water system.

Affordable and efficient

The Dux Hot water system in the townhouse I purchased two years ago was fourteen years old at that point, and only gave up six months ago. As it had lasted sixteen years, I thought that the product was obviously a good one. When it went it needed replacing immediately - I contacted Bunnings as soon as they opened and my new system was in by 2pm that afternoon. I am more than happy with it so far, and with a long warranty I have no doubts that I won't have to worry about my hot water for a long time to come.

Replacement for a reliable system

Our old DUX twin element heater began to leak after 18 years of reliable service and we decided to replace it with its nearest equivalent. The 4.8kW model is no longer available so we settled for the current 3.6kW model. Bunnings organised the replacement and the operation was completed efficiently and professionally. We have only had the new heater for a week but in view of past experience we don't anticipate any problems.

Very happy with the system

This is the second 125L Proflo Dux system I have purchased from Bunnings. The service I received was excellent and the price was far less than any other quote. They are both for rental properties and the tenants are happy with them.

Very satisfied customer

The unit is a backup (not off peak) and for laundry use. It fitted well into the space allocated and has performed well since it was installed. I would recommend this water heater.

Best system I’ve ever owned and service was fantastic....have used on my other properties and they are all going strong.

No issues to date, used by 6 people in our household, temperature stays constant with no fluctuations. Heavy usage during mornings and night , can’t really fault , an excellent unit that we highly recommend.

Great to have hot water all the time after three years of inconsistent heat and too small a system

Great for family of three adults as we find it never runs out. Bit noisy when running but that is only downfall otherwise very happy with unit.Runs very well thanks.

It does the job

After replacing our old unit we noticed the Dux proved to be more efficient energy and the 250L has coped with our family of six daily usage. Clean & smart tank if that matters to anyone. Bunnings everything went well from researching / customer service, quick installation the whole process was very professional.

Great Product

Replaced my 25 yr old Water Heater in February. Ordered through Bunnings and service from both Bunnings & Dux was great. Unsure of size needed and Bunnings quickly sorted this out for me. Installation was quick and no problems with lack of hot water.

Our system has no identifying stickers, scratched off ..?! height tells me it's a 125lt the thermostat is EWT1L2-523 (6/4/20060) element plate says Kawa 051C 240/3600dux p/n 0102 the element or thermostat must be defective as we only get luke warm water for a few days now.. Does Dux still sell elements and thermostats for these models? (Perth)

I have a leak coming from the bracket bolted onto the electric hot water system under the cover maked temperature control. Do I need a plumber to resove this? I am a bit nervous about either over tightening the bolts or in fact removing thrm and causing a flood.
