Absolutely fantastic, from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. We worked through multiple designs and incorporated several changes along the way. In what can be a tedious and lengthy process at times , Every step we had expert advice from Ranbuild and Rodsand Sheds. . The whole team are very professional and polite to deal with. Looking fwd to enjoying the new shed and carport for many years to come.

bore little resemblance to the design ordered. Rodsand Sheds & Garages couldn’t build the design ordered, but instead of telling us this, they went ahead and installed a patio cover of their own design which sits barely above the roof of the house with one beam slicing through the house roof, is pitched towards the house and had no independent drainage system.

Five (5) years on, the fifth (5) rectification attempt has just been completed (photos added of the rectified structure Rodsand Sheds & Garages promised us would add value to our home).

Despite being found at fault for Building Code breaches by QBCC with two lots of repairs undertaken by rectifying builders via QBCC’s Home Warranty Insurance, Rodsand Sheds & Garages have maintained a position that there is nothing wrong with the patio cover they built. Rodsand Sheds & Garages’ first attempt to rectify water ingress was lots and lots of silicon but since have not attempted to rectify issues using their own staff. Since, Rodsand Sheds & Garages have ignored notifications from us about ongoing water ingress issues and only arranged third parties to respond when directed by QBCC, the highlight being contractors Rodsand Sheds & Garages sourced via Air Tasker. The QBCC Inspector confirmed to us that Rodsand Sheds & Garages’ “builder” was in fact only an Installer leaving [Name Removed] assurance that a “builder” would oversee this project, worthless.

Rodsand are the rudest, profane and obnoxious contractors I have ever dealt with. [Name Removed] and his crew had to be asked to leave the work site due to foul-mouthed verbal abuse they directed at me personally when questions were raised about the changed patio cover design.

Before making contact with Rodsand Sheds & Garages, it is strongly recommended you check Rodsand’s QBCC licence for current defaults/penalties. If you still want to proceed, source your own Building Certifier as the one Rodsand Sheds & Garages recommended signed off on their non-compliant mess.

I do not recommend anyone use Rodsand Sheds & Garages without undertaking comprehensive due diligence. Even if the quote seems reasonable, you might not get what you ask for.

I will be AVOIDING Rodsand Sheds & Garages (Nerang) for any and all new work.
