Brother bought started once – Brand new the thing is I had the same problem as the other blokes one blister from pulling the cord about 30 times 3 hours playing with the plug another 30 pulls, then two draw a conclusion that the spark is so faint it doesn't run pulled it apart to find out it has one of the cheapest built coils I have ever seen in hundreds of tear downs and yes it will be in the bin by tomorrow afternoon, not worth the time on a hairy girls back!
Purchased at Mitre 10.
Worst tool I have ever bought – Bought online and the pictures don’t accurately depict how bad this machine is. Feels very plasticy. First time start took half a day to get it to go. Even then subsequently starts take ages. Started falling apart after about the 5th time of using because you would have to yank it so hard to get it to go. Tried multiple things to make it work better such as spark plug changes. This is all not even mentioning the total lack of blowing power, would be better to blow on the leaves through a straw, they would move further. Would never buy this brand again. Absolute rubbish.
Purchased in for $89.
Not worth it, even at half the price – Bought this at a closing down sale for $50, half price. Got it home and found it takes a 30:1 ratio fuel mix. Different to all my other 2 strokes. Hard starting, I mean hand blister hard. OK when it was running but noticed it was choppy when you touched the ground with the nozzle. That's because there is a safety cut off switch on the nozzle, so when you turn it off it won't start again if it's on the ground with the nozzle pushed up. Nothing in the manual about this either Very hard starting when it's hot....like don't bother, wait till it cools down. You also get a pressure vacuum in the fuel tank, have to undo the cap every now and then so it feeds fuel....really ticks you off when it starves, cause it won't start when it's hot ! Enough said, going to buy a Stihl.
