Mower cuts well and functions fine if lawn is small and kept very short. As soon as grass is longer or ground is uneven the catcher becomes a big problem. I live on a rural property and use mower on small back lawn, plus large front and the verge area, and sometimes other areas on property. When purchased new, the catcher didn't come with screws to hold two halves together (even though their are holes to put them), and when full of clippings it falls off the mower and comes apart. Rod that hooks catcher onto mower moves, comes out of its plastic retaining clips when catcher is weighted with grass clippings, and causes catcher to either separate or not seal to mower properly blowing grass everywhere. Catcher also causes mower to tip when becoming full. Mower itself is fine, cuts well and starts easily and happy with its performance. Self-propelled feature is annoying, and after numerous belt issues I no longer bother with it. Catcher setup is awful, and even with adding the missing screws, the rod moving causes sealing problems and the weight causes tipping. Also noted that when the ground is uneven, it bumps the bottom of the catcher causing rod to move and so on.
Purchased in for $799.

Very happy with my new mower. It starts very easily and runs well. This is my first self-propelled mower. I was a little apprehensive; however, it is easy to operate and become comfortable with. If you keep your lawn under control and de-thatch, then the mower will do well. I found the engine fairly underpowered to get through the kikuya thatch on my lawn.
I ordered the mower online from Rover. The catcher did not have screws for assembly. Thinking that this was an error, I contacted Rover Costume Support and was advised that: "The catcher on this unit does not come with screws for the catcher.

I don't know where you would buy anything requiring assembly that does not contain the parts required and where you need to visit a dealer after buying online! This spoils the whole customer experience.
Follow-up · Having used the mower for a time, my observations are as follows: 1. I never realised that every time you take your hand off the drive lever to empty the catcher, the engine stops and must be restarted. 2. The mower tends to be "bouncy" in that when there is weight in the catcher there is an imbalance and the front wheels tend to raise off the surface.
