Absolute garbage! Cheap and nasty – Bought this mower to use on my zorzia. No guts. Have to hold the lever otherwise it becomes very lethargic. Drops power. Then grass starts spewing out underneath, rather than go into the catcher. The catcher is only half full when I check to see if the catcher is full. Over priced garbage. Should have bought a Honda.

If you want quality look no further – Purchased the Rover 955sp after much research. Any business that backs their products with a 5 year warranty must be doing things right. Assembly was easy and my first mow was a breeze. This self propelled machine with its 195cc motor and 21" cut meant I cut my lawn in half the time and felt much better for not having to have to push it around. In my opinion these machines are made for large clear lawn areas with few obstructions. Everything worked well out of the box and after filling it with oil and fuel it was ready to go. Although made in China (isn't everything) the 955sp was solid and very well built. The soft catcher held a ton of grass meaning half as many trips to the bin. The built in mulching plug will be handy in winter months. A side discharge chute is also provided.

Clogs up with slightly long grass – Side chute clogs if grass longer than 150mm. Had to tie open rear discharge to help. But sadly not too successful Side chute blocks to point of stopping motor I was in two minds as to buy a proper utility mower or not. Made the wrong choice.

Great self propelled mower – After a lot of research on self propelled mowers I decided to go with the Rover Duracut 955SP I must say the rover 190cc engine definitely has low down torque and continues mowing where my Toro would just stall out, It's relatively quiet engine even when it's down working hard. Everything on this mower is much better built than on the Toro I had. Time will tell if this mower lasts the distance. It cuts through long grass without dropping engine revs, and wet moist grass it has no problem tackling that either! It has a long warranty (5 years), Australian designed. The wheels all have bearings unlike some other brands the deck seems sturdy enough although the handles seem to have a bit of movement back and forth hence the 4 stars. The self propelled system took a little getting use to but after first tank of fuel I was starting to get use to it. As I said it seems well built and well designed and does come with a 5 year warranty my only dislikes is the engine brake and the handles but as for engine brake majority of mowers today either have engine brake or blade brake
Purchased in for $759.
