Do not buy this product, or any product from Rover. The warranty department is no help do not offer solutions to any problems. You buy a lawnmower on agreement and the company then changes the agreement and makes it very inconvenient for you to take the mower in for any work to be done on it under warranty. They are not willing to help you in any situation. They are very un Australian. They do not care about you once they have your money. They rip you off and then they disappear. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. Would not recommend Rover to anybody. DO NOT BUY ANY ROVER PRODUCTS, BOYCOTT ROVER
Purchased in for $5,000.
Only buy if this mower comes with a battery charger – I bought a brand new Lawn King in June 2023. The mower itself does a decent job of cutting the grass. However, irrespective of whether it's been ten minutes or ten days since its previous use, the battery goes flat and needs to be recharged. It is ridiculously frustrating that the battery constantly drains as soon as the mower is switched off. There is no way that I would ever purchase another Rover mower after the problems I have had with this one.

Rover lawn King 21 HP 42" PROBLEMS – I bought for cash one of these for $5400 on 1st April 2021from Braschs in Cairns; this was at that time around $1800 more than good quality medium opposition. But these had a 5 year warranty. See December 2022 trouble started. After working for around 20 minutes, if the blades were turned off they would not turn back on. The machine had to sit for 20 minutes before the blades would spin again. The motor would run but not cutting for around 20 minutes. Apparently the problem would not show whilst just spinning outside a workshop. I delivered the machine to the nearby repair agent (I live 2 hours from Cairns) and it was picked up and returned 3 times, the 3rd time to Braschs in Cairns on 4th March. I have the details but I have since spoken to Area Managers, Warranty Staff, Service Managers and presently to a gentleman in Melbourne who cannot seem to get a response from Cairns. In all this time [Name Removed] is the only person who I've spoken to more than twice; most of the others were on holidays at a meeting or too busy and will call back. I do Thank [Name Removed] from Melbourne. But I've had enough. My Wife and I have push- mowed 2 acres and been helped by good neighbours; I am over 69 and the Wife is 66 years old. I am sorry there is no short version of this. For your information [Name Removed].

Good value for money – An overall very good mower. The 21.5 hp Kawasaki engine gives heaps of power for the size of the mower, the automatic diff lock is the best thing ever on my sloped land, no more wheel slip. The turning circle is great around bid trees. I opted to set up the mover deck for mulching and had a mulching kit fitted, the plastic cover and the fastening bracket is not worth the money, I ended up modifying it as the original set up kept popping half way off! I was disappointed with the dealerships pre delivery, tyres pumped to 25psi (should only be 11 back and 14 front), mover deck not adjusted correctly, did not know that the front wheels now are fitted with ball bearings, I was told that they had bushes!! I’m disappointed with the exhaust noise, a better muffler would be great. I have run the mower for 65 hours by now and it has been a pleasure so far
