Once you learn some techniques this is a very good cooker – When I first used it, I was disappointed. Turns out i was the one who was doing it wrong and not the quality of the rice cooker It's basic. Turn on and a keep warm function. It's not fancy but it does the job I had a lot of jasmine long grain rice on me, so decided to watch a YouTube video and learned some techniques. IMPORTANT. Rinse your rice.… Read more

Put it in the rice cooking bowl and wash the rice twice, draining properly. for long grain the proportion is 1 cup rice to 1.5 cups water Had the best rice ever. To think, I almost gave it away As I type, I am cooking up a batch oh and here's a tip. Once rice cooker beeps upon completion... open lid and mix the rice for a little while before use. The rice was as if you had it in a restaurant dish. fluffing up rice makes all the difference.

Easy to use – Easy to use and not complicated like other rice cookers. Great price also. Rice comes out fluffy and separated every time. Easy to clean. Steam vegetables also while cooking the rice. Show details

Rice burns and sticks wvery time – Rubbish item. Rice burns and sticks every time, and creates a thick burnt crust. In addition this is an extremely fiddly and awkward item to clean. No design elegance. Waste of money. Show details

Rice is so fluffy – Feedback from everyone is the rice is super fluffy and light, no more messy rice cooking. Easy to use and clean. Good quality rice every time and the keep warm function is great. Haven't tried the other options - crazy but you can do things like potatoes and dumplings in it!!  Show details

Could be Better ! – The unit burns the rice at the bottom, which must be discarded, wasting more than 1/2 a cup of rice on every use. Not such an issue when cooking for 20, but quite a waste when cooking for 2. My previous unit a cheap Sunbeam did not do this and it also cooked the rice better. The lid seems flimsy ( Cheap hinge etc) time will tell if this… Read more

copes, the warnings about not using it as a handle suggest this is a weak / poor design. The steam condenser tank fell off the first time I used the unit and now does not stay on.

The unit is not easy to clean - rice fragments get into the seals everywhere and several different parts need to be manually removed for proper cleaning. A simple removable lid would have solved all these issues.

Poorly designed, questionable quality and average results - Not recommended.

Good value rice cooker – The rice cooker cooks the rice well. Easy to clean, you can take the internal lid out and clean it. The steamer basket is made of thin plastic, it wouldn't hold the shape well when you take it out of the cooker with a plate of food with liquid in the steamer. Show details

Russell Hobbs Rice Cooker RHRC1 – My rice cooker was delivered today. I have not used it yet. It has a handle, but only for opening or closing the cooker. THERE IS NO HANDLE FOR CARRYING THE COOKER. If I had known that I would not have ordered this reice cooker. Unfortunately I bought this cooker through flybuys. It had a distinct sticker that I could not return this unit.I am no… Read more

longer surprised by this sticker. Because if I could I would happily send it back. Next to see how it operates in comparison with my Breville Ricebox which worked great until it died.
