Decent for the price – Dont believe the poor ratings given by reviewers who clearly are not smart enough to operate a microwave safely. This model is actually made by Sanyo, who generally make good stuff. I bought one for my camper van. It ended up replacing the microwave in the house I liked it so much. It cooks very efficiently when using combined grill or oven and… Read more
microwave. It makes fantastic nachos in 10 minutes! This microwave is 900 watt so not top level power, but this means it can do some things e.g. rice and defrost much better than more powerful microwaves that tend to overcook the outside and undrcook the inside of foods. Main downside is that toast etc doesnt brown well when using microwave and grill or oven combo. Either grill or oven on its own is slow to cook but that is pretty normal for a convection microwave.
Mine Caught On Fire – Had this microwave for a while, worked great when I first got it but it has been in storage and have only just started using it again. I melted butter the other day and over done it so it went everywhere, was unable to clean it properly from the roof because of the element and the butter had gone into the holes as well. So now everything I try to… Read more
use it on convection it catches on fire. Thought it was going to burn the house down tonight. Was burning a blue flame!!! Will be throwing it out!!
sorry worst microwave ever had – Saw it on Target with 20% off and it looked good. Set-up was easy and at first seemed fine. Noticed microwave was even weaker than on our old worn out one. Quick start misses 90 sec very annoying. Convection turned on the frill by error twice out of 3 times. After 2 minutes of microwaving the noisy fan stays on for minutes after. Checked with… Read more
meter and showed worse efficiency then the old worn out one. Eventually the fan would not switch off at all and baking got noisier all the time. Periodically faulty control. Had to take it back for a refund. Price and looks. just about everything cheap in every way and inefficient
Sorry not Impressed – I bought 2. One for my Dad, 87, too complicated and lettering too small. I cooked grilled ham and cheese on toast. Took over 10 mins, on grill, and toast still not brown, but hard. Put topping on and after 10 mins melted but just, not brown. Put it in my oven grill and done in no time. Sorry, doesn't seem to have the power needed. Took both back to Target. Must say, Target were great. No problems with getting a full refund.

Agree with Liketachat - def not the power required. Have same issue with grilling and heating.
