A good saw if you change the blade – Not a bad, cheap band saw so long as you change the 6mm blade that comes as standard. The standard Ryobi blade will not cut in a straight line regardless of the level of control you try to apply and how well you tighten the settings. Immediately go an buy a 1510mm x 10mm blade from Carbatec or similar. Well priced and not too heavy. Can easily be put back in the shed Standard blade does not cut straight

Owner of band saw – This band saw is quite good and is a very reliable power tool ,i am a retired wood worker and have really found it very useful in my hobby of wooden model boat building. It has it's limitations ,but for the better part of its operation it holds it's own .i would and will recomend it to others in and out of my family. I like the throught size for the size of the machine and its easy access to the blade when needed. The only thing that i am concerned about is its speed when under load .
