does what it says on tin – on my seventh charge so been cutting some branches left behind from tree felling operations into firewood before they get burnt , maybe done 7 hours work with it spread over a week and it is making quite a good old pile of firewood . it just gets on with job at its own pace which is ok if your not in rush, seems to do me about 1 hour work on a charge but some of this time is spent sorting wood and bagging the logs etc , you can have dinner while it charges and its ready to go again after an hour or so unlike its owner so its a bit of a willing puppy for diy home use. it seems happiest on branches 3 to 5 inches but can manage thicker stuff at a struggle if you wait, i am happy with it so far and getting nearly 2 wheelie bin full of logs per charge from 2 to 5 inch thick branches keep it sharp and i think the 100 cuts on 4 inch timber is easily achieved , no perol smell or fumes, quiet, easy to use.
Chainsaw value – I don't know if this helps but i just bought the kit with hedger, blower ,chainsaw and battery +charger for only 399 at bunnings tried on some pine trees and cleared them away did not seem to bind in any way Not a badbunit for the price and convenience .think i'll try the hedger next weekend Weight and balance
