Worst purchase ever!!!

Worst purchase ever!!!! Wouldn't suck up a potato chip crumb!!! Save your receipt so you can take it back and get another brand. Oh and the battery doesn't come with it, and it's useless too. 20 minutes max time. Show details

The most useless vacuum I’ve ever used

Can’t comment on the wet function but the suction power for dry vacuuming is very poor! Show details

Good sucker bad atachments

The vacuum has good suction but the hose is like wrestling a boa constricter unusable, the floor attachment is like an ashtray on a motor bike absolutely useless. To use the floor attachment on carpet you can only drag it backwards and on hard floors it tilts off the floor very frustrating. Show details

Best vacuum I've owned or used!!

I'm a construction cleaner and I have been using my ryobi 30L for 3 years now. I've been using the PowerFit H13 HEPA cartridge filter, PowerFit 30L E11 Dust Bag with it and the suction is still excellent. I was so impressed that I also bought the 20L last year to use at home. Show details

Mostly positive but faulty wheel(s)

Good little cleaner especially for the price. Elec cord a bit short. My only negative is that each time I have used it one of the wheels falls off and this is very annoying! It first occurred on the initial usage. I am unable to tell if it is the same wheel or not.. Show details

More of a hassle than it's worth

Purchased this vacuum because I needed something powerful with a decent sized drum to use in the wood working workshop and garages.
What made me choose this machine was the 1500w motor, the 30L barrel and the stainless steel suction pipes.
All that would be great if the unit didn't keep clogging it self up at the barrel inlet.
Due to the way this machine is designed, there is not much room between the barrel inlet and the filter in the barrel and because the filter takes up the best part of the barrel, it doesn't allow the dustbag to expand, causing it clog.

I want my Shop Vac back

I had a shopvac for years and it worked perfectly in my workshop and on site.
Thought I'd update and give my shopvac to my son.
What a mistake. The only redeeming feature is the tool control. I.e. when I'm using a sander the sander operates the vacuum. Other than that it is the worst vacuum ever. Most of the suction is lost because of hose. The hose is far too small in diameter, too long and the rough surface of the inside of the hose all combine to create way too much resistance. This can be felt while putting the hose on and off with the vacuum running.
The filter clogs regularly and is difficult to clean.
It needs to be revisited by someone who knows how vacuum cleaners work. Show details

Good suction Cheap components

Snapped the vacuum stick in the first 10 seconds of use. Thin plastic that is not suitable for the job obviously. Suction seemed ok but it's going back to Bunnings and I think I will pass on anything Ryobi from now on. Show details

Still looks like new

Purchased quite a few years ago and was hardly used. I went to use it for the first time myself to vacuum the car, but it wouldn't turn on at all. Then the huge on/off switch broke, so yeah still all shiny and new but totally useless. Never again. Show details

Good price and effective

It does a great job. I have carpeted floors which is a bit harder to keep clean if the vacuum doesn’t have a good suction but this one exceeded my expectations. Great price.

It does need to change bags occasionally, but it lasts for so long. So I don’t think it’s a problem  Show details

Bought to change sand filter

I bought this machine to remove 160kg of wet old sand from my pool sand filter. It did the job very well and the cost compares favourably to hiring. The stainless steel feels a little flimsy but at least that makes it light when the motor is detached when carting the wet sand away.  Show details

My unit is blowing air from both the exhaust outlet and the top handle unit on one side. Suction is low. Filter clean but have discovered a broken seal around the top of the unit where it attaches to the bucket. Is this the cause?

Have a look on the bunnings website or google it.
It would have taken more effort to ask the question on here.

The on/off rocker switch is not working. If i turn the unit upside down the rocker switch falls off - so it is not seated on the switch. I tried pushing hard but I am concerned i might break something if I continue with that. Is there a simple answer to this problem. The unit is less than 6 months old.

I would take the piece of junk back to Bunning for either a refund, replacement or a completely different machine.
They are a rubbish machine and not very well designed espresso for a workshop vac
