It is wonderful compact stroller! – I purchased this pram for my 6 month old baby girl few days ago for day to day use as one i have is too heavy for me to carry it each time i go out with my girl. I absolutely like it. pros: - light weight of 6.5kg, also very compact when folded - easy to fold, also you can leave small stuff in the basket when folded(like some shopping bags) -… Read more
you don't need to buy foot rest separately unlike some other light weight stroller. - front wheels have suspension - easy break system(open toe shoes friendly) - good storage size of basket
Cons: - opening canopy is not smooth... it makes some sound(not major issue) - closing and opening bar is not very smooth(not major issue, Kinda like it as baby cannot easily open it) - handle bar is bit low for my hubby(178cm height / but it is perfect for me of 160cm height) - bar in the middle of basket, but it doesn't bother me much.
it would be very good stroller for day to day use for mums like me who cannot take heavy thing to lift.
Love, love, love – Amazing! I purchased this for an interstate flight. We have a GB pockit and I love the GB for the size and convenience while travelling, however from a price point the Safety 1st Nook offered a better shade cover, shopping basket and fold. If the Safety First Nook was available when we had our first child, I would have just brought the Nook and… Read more
saved my money on the other more expensive bulky options! Definitely recommend the Safety First Nook. Excellent value for an efficient, lightweight and comfortable stroller.
Perfect compact stroller – Had this since day 1. Wanted a smallish pram that didn't take up too much space in a hatchback (toyota corolla) -it takes up only half the bootspace, leaving space for shopping. I've even had it in the boot with a medium luggage, and in the front seat just because we needed a bit more boot space. The basket is decent, but bear in mind that… Read more
there's a bar in the middle which may affect how much you can stuff in. You can still put a narrow baby bag when bub is in the upright position and access some stuff from a gap in the front.
I've had compliments on how easy it was to fold - single-hand. Seat folds in so it stays clean. You can also leave some items in the basket (e.g muslin cloth/shade cover) when folding.
Awesome little stroller.
PERFECT STROLLER – Been using this stroller for about 5+ months and it has been the easiest, lightest, compact to fit my small car. Saves space in the boot, one hand fold, very comfortable for my 3 year old daughter. I highly recommend this stroller to all the parents looking for something easy to use and save space also make life easy for those busy moms and dads who dont have time to lift a heavy pram out of the car and then attaching seats as well.
The perfect compact stroller I can’t live without – After about 10 months of lugging around our full size Babybee Plus pram, I wanted to get a compact pram that can be folded down with one hand and one that doesn’t take all of our space in the car boot. One of my best friends uses the Babyzen Yoyo and highly recommended it. I did my research online and narrow down to the Babyzen Yoyo, Britax… Read more
Holiday and the Mountain Buggy Nano 2.
Hubby and I went to Baby Kingdom with bub for ‘test drive’ and funnily enough the one that stood out most is the new Safety 1st Nook compact stroller!
We wanted to try out all our shortlisted strollers without sales showing us how to use them (e.g. fold and unfold stroller, securing our wriggling bub, pushing stroller around narrow spots, and carrying the folded stroller with bub in one hand).
The folding mechanism of the Nook is very intuitive. One click and push down, I can easily fold down the stroller with one hand! We love that it can stand on its own in compact mode. Make it easy for me to park it next to the boot while we load our groceries.
It’s not hard securing our wriggling bub with the easy access bumper. The sunshade and storage are very generous comparing to other compact strollers. Bub can also lie down completely when asleep.
I love the full mesh back panel, cos I can see her better when she’s asleep, plus I think it would be great for Summer.
I also love the French Navy Blue colour and the fabric feels comfortable for bub.
The last but not least is the price point! It is the cheapest out of all my shortlisted compact strollers, but Nook’s features are definitely up there with Babyzen Yoyo and Mountain Buggy Nano.
We have used it for about a month now in parks, shopping malls and local neighbourhood. We have no trouble pushing it around and bub seems to love it. Hubby even said if they had released this stroller earlier, we may not even need our Babybee pram! So definitely five stars to the Safety 1st Nook.
Lightweight but sturdy – Purchased this pram to take overseas as we were looking for a compact and lightweight pram. Ended up loving it so much that I now use it day to day. I had a C-section so I love the fact that this pram is under 7kg. Suitable from birth as it reclines flat. Excellent value for money as we got it for under $300.
