excellent for what it is – I am sure there are many other light weight prams that will stir better will fold easier and will have a better sun shade, but how many of them will fit it the back pack? I bought this pram second hand for an overseas trip and being at least third owner I can say it is very well maid and very good quality pram. Fold is complicated at first but… Read more
ones you do it few times its not hard at all,
Our son who is tall and heavy for his 2.2 finds it very comfortable, he just loves it. folds in a back pack
Nothing Smart About This Stroller! – We purchased this stroller to take away with us overseas as it is extremely lightweight and you can take it through customs and right up to where you board the plane. It folds down and goes into a back pack small enough to be labelled as carry on luggage! Sounds good right? Well we vowed never to use it again after our trip overseas! Right from… Read more
the start we had trouble steering it with our 13 month old in it. It kept going from left to right - never straight down the middle where you wanted it to go - worse than any shopping trolley I have ever encountered. The breaks aren't trustworthy and worst of all if our baby leant over to the left or right too far it would start to tip over - very dangerous. The sun shade is pointless unless the sun sits on top of your babies head. The handles are too low and we were both stooping to hold on to them. It kept getting stuck in mid walk - we could not figure out why - there was no apparent reason for this but it happened constantly, and took much effort to get it moving again. It was so hard to fold up and down after a few times that we ended up leaving it in our hotel room and carrying our baby everywhere - was not worth the anguish taking the pram with us!
Although affordable at the time of purchase, the way we feel about it now, we would pay triple to get rid of it! We now know to test drive before we purchase another stroller! Comes in good colours.... Not sturdy, takes time to put down/up, wheels freeze up, steers itself incorrectly!
Bad – Not a big fan of this stroller. It is very compact, but you lose a lot of features with the compact design. Not very comfortable to push and steer, I ended up with sore wrists after using it for any length of time. ok for use on public transport, but other than that i'd go with a regular stroller Very compact when folded and assembled, light… Read more
weight, cheaply priced Very hard to assemble and fold up, the shade broke shortly after purchase, looks very uncomfortble for the child to sit in, not much storage space, difficult to push and steer, seems very flimsy.
Excellent – This came with a rain cover which clips on easily. I purchased the caddy which is really handy for extra storage. I have no problem steering it. Love it! Compact, Light. Easy to fold (once you get the hang of it)
Excellent – This is the best $79 I've ever spent!! We are now up to baby #3 using it and it's a life saver. The only time I ever use the big stroller is when I need to push two kids around. I can lift it up and down stairs without moving the baby. I have taken it on overseas trips and it's great to push it right up to the door of the plane then put it in the… Read more
overhead locker. Toys can be attached to the harness. backpacks can be hung over the handles (although you do have to make sure you remove the backpack before the baby otherwise it tips). It is so quick and easy to put and and down - and the instructions are printed on it too... but just following the numbers is easy - don't understand those who think its tricky. I can even put it in the boot of the car without needing to fold it up. All the kids have been really comfortable in it - never any complaints! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick and easy stroller to take around the shops, or through airports, we've even taken it to the beach - so easy to carry across the sand! Although if you buy it to go for long bushwalks then you will be disappointed as that's not it's intended use! So nice and compact.. easy to lift up and down stairs by yourself with child still strapped in. Easy to fold. Just EASY!! the sun shade doesn't do much
Terrible – i wish we could be able to test drive products like this before you buy i do not recommend this product @ all it was a waste of money! the sunshade is pointless wheels always get stuck and it can tip in any direction if your chile moves to far,wat a waste of $120
Bad – I would never buy this stroller again. It does fold up quite small which is why it is quite a narrow pram. However, the child in it is very squished up, there is not really any arm movement room. They don't even really sleep in it as it must be quite uncomfortable. I have used it at the airport and it is great for that but I have also used it… Read more
on a trip to a wildlife park and it was terrible! I've had this pram for a while now and still have trouble folding it up. There are instructions inside the cover but it still doesn't fold up as easily as I thought it should, so is tricky.
As I said, I would never buy this pram again but if you really wanted one, buy it second hand at a cheap price as it just isn't worth the money brand new. It folds very small, it has a cover that comes with it. Very handy at airports and quick trips to the shop. The sunshade is useless. It is no good on anything but smooth surfaces. The seat is very small so the child looks squished up and isn't comfortable.
Good – We used this stroller on a ten week trip in Europe in 2006 and for us, it did the job well. It is a stroller you have to keep a hold of, especially if you hang any bags on it as it can become easily unstable but that's the price of it being so light, having three wheels and being foldable. We used it on paths, gravel, in mud, on grass - all wet… Read more
and dry. We got the folding down and could do it in less than a minute - also often you can just fold it part of the way eg if your squeezing into a crowded bus. Our child slept in it often. Also it is great how you can hold it, a child and some luggage all at once. Agree the hood is pretty useless by itself but hand a muslin cloth over it and it provides ample sun protection. So for us it really did do the job. It takes getting used to but I would definately recommend it for travel (especially if your backpacking) or as a back-up stroller at home. lightweight, folds, compact, good price agree with most of above. Unstable, takes getting used to - but does the job.
Good – Great for travel. Not a replacement for a 'real' stroller. Buy 2nd hand on eBay. It's interesting how vitriolic people are about this item. It is, by its nature, a compromise, as it folds SO small. We got it primarily for plane travel, but it also lives in a footwell in the back of the car. For both purposes, it's great. It folds - SMALL -… Read more
which is exactly what it's supposed to do It flexes when pushing it, which affects the steering a little. The sunshade is really just for 'appearance'. It is never our 'first choice' if we want to push her somewhere, but it is our first choice if convenience of storage of the folded pusher is important.
Excellent – Bought for travelling overseas and it was excellent. Child slept in when needed and was comfortable. As above, we hung a muslin cloth over the stroller to keep sun off. Also purchased a generic waterproof cover. Would highly recommend if travelling. As it was small enough to put in the overhead lockers on the aircraft, we could use it at all our… Read more
stop overs and race around the airport or strap our child in when needing to concentrate on other things. It is essentially a travel item and does it's job very well. This stroller is compact, lightweight and perfect for travelling Difficult to steer if using one hand
Excellent – Having read multiple reviews prior to purchase I found the Quicksmart stroller much easier and robust than expected. I use it preferentially over my mountain buggy when zooming around malls and nipping into the post office. Steering with one hand is actually possible. Folds quickly and logically. If you respect the fact that this stroller makes… Read more
sacrifices in order to be convenient, you may find that it has a place amongst your baby amoury! Light enough to pick up the pram with the child in it when necessary (such as navigating escalators). Nowhere to hang toys
Excellent – We absolutely love this stroller, so much so that I have been going to write a letter to the manufacturer for some time now. (Note I have never done this before for any other product nor written a review for a product like this.) We are up to our third child and we travel overseas extensively. We first purchased this stroller in 2005 and took… Read more
it to Russia with our then 20 month old. It was fantastic, we could take it right up to the plane and we loved it when the stern Russian flight attendants yelled at us in Russian for not checking it in. We would just laugh and show them how to fold it up into the small bag and put it in the overhead compartment. They were stunned. It has been our second child's only stroller. It's fantastic when you are by yourself as you can leave the child in it and pick it up to climb stairs if you have to or help yourself off public transport etc. We've used it over all sorts of terrain and it's still working, we can't believe it! We've been stopped many times overseas by people wanting to know where to get one. All this and it cost us $100! Small, take it anywhere and we still use it after 5 years. The shade cloth came off after a few months use.
