Locked – The modem is locked and does not allow port forwarding. The menu is severely limited after Telstra and Belong had their way with it. I get dropouts maybe once a month. It's a bit slow with NBN, i am only getting a small percentage of the speeds I am paying for. https://blog.onedefence.com/index.html%3Fp=67.html
Works for ADSL2+ and NBN – Received this modem as a replacement from Belong on their ADSL2+ plan, to replace the old Technicolor TG797n V3 modem. Left Belong to sign up with Aussie Broadband NBN and it turned out that this modem has NBN capabilities! Saved me $150 from getting a new modem just for the new NBN service. And it worked flawlessly from the get go. Just had to connect the NBN WAN cable to the back of it and I was up and running in no time.
If you're looking for a cheap modem for your NBN service, this will work perfectly.

Works great – Got this modem about 3 months ago. Using it in a large 3 Bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, and has enough coverage to service the while apartment. Signal is strong and steady. Would recommend.
