Terrible Customer Service - Saigon Mamma – I went for dinner here on Koornang Road in Carnegie and was very disappointed with the lack of customer service provided by the staff. After being seated and rushed with ordering drinks and food, I was shocked when I didn't receive my glass of wine until well after the food was served - plus, I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered it and my partner's drink was also forgotten at the time. Whilst the food was great, the lack of attentiveness provided by the wait staff was very noticeable. We were not asked whether we wanted another drink at any point during our meal - had either of us been asked, the restaurant would have easily made another $20-$25. Additionally, once we had finished our meals, no-one came to take our plates and give us the bill. When I looked around for a staff member to help us, I spotted two of the staff chatting at the bar and not paying attention to me or the other customers in the restaurant. My partner and I ended up having to approach a staff member at the bar to ask her for the bill so we could pay and leave. This restaurant is on Uber Eats but we haven't ordered through them or returned in person since our disappointing experience there. With so many other fantastic restaurants on Koornang Road who look after their customers properly and value their business, I will give this one a miss in the future.
