We have had our fridge for about a week and cannot get the ice to dispense more than 6 cubes. Sometimes it's only 2 sometimes more but then there's just a dispense sound and nothing coming out. It won't crush the ice at all. It's making ice fine and dispensing water fine. It's just the ice cubes and crushed ice that has a problem. I tried to call the Samsung support line earlier today and after all the prompts the call simply ended without getting to speak to anyone. There's no ice blockages. We have done everything stated in the manual. How can we get constant ice dispensing without an issue? Thanks

I bought this fridge thinking I would have cold water from dispenser and after not having cold water for 2 days after buying it the technician came and said that it only holds one glass of water. What is the size tank for this fridge? On Samsungs website it says 2l for most of their fridge. But there is not way that’s the case.

After a recent power failure the LED display is now only 4 blue LED eights i.e. 88 88 with the far right end eight having 2 bottom bars of the eight flashing? the fridge is still functioning fine though, thoughts?

Not sure on that. We have had ours set up since June and water tastes fine although I'm not happy that its not as cold as some peiples chilled water on their fridges. Have goggled and seems its as cold as it gets

I also still get a tainted taste. Think it’s the longer it sits in the pipes not the tank. So I guess if you filled first glass and threw it away the next glass might be cooler and untainted if coming straight from the tank

just got fridge 2 days ago. water dispenser stopped working today. water tank is full. have taken ou, emptied & refilled. nothing. ice maker also stopped assuming because no water flowing out of tank. pls help

Hi Joy - we have the same fridge - these fridges occasionally get air in the water lines especially after 1 or 2 days as the "test" water in the lines is pumped out and before the new water from the container in the fridge enters the water lines. Here are a couple of things to check. 1. that the lock is not on the dispenser (if so unlock it by pressing lock icon on the dispenser for 3 sec) 2. That the pump is working - you should hear the pump sound as you try to dispense water. If you hear no pump noise it's time to call Samsung customer care (label inside the fridge). If you hear the pump going but no water is dispensed just keep pressing the dispenser - it will eventually start dispensing water again (ours took about a min to start pumping water again which doesn't sound long but feels like a very long time to press the dispenser).

hi Tom, thankyou so much for answering my question. i had tried that yesterday and again today and no water still. good news is the ice maker worked overnight so that means its only the water despenser tube. tank is working as ice maker was able to abstract water from it. ill try all day today than call samsung. thank you again

Yes, left is the freezer with the ice and water dispenser the right is the fridge. The water is filled inside the fridge.

It has a function if your going away you can turn it off, ours has never been over full so I assume it senses when it has made enough.

The fridge light and freezer light do not come on when the doors are open. Both fridge and freezer are operating at the right temperature. Problem seemed to occur after the mains power was off for ten minutes yesterday. Any ideas for an easy fix, short of getting a service guy out? Thanks!

Thank you Ada - I had a service rep look at the problem. It was a fault in the circuit board/motherboard that progressed to the more serious problem of the fridge no longer cooling. The fridge was only 5 years old, too young to be having these sorts of problems - so we have bought a new fridge.

I used a lot of ice on xmas day and now no ice is being produced. I've checked and the ice off button is not illuminated. I've read about a reset button, but I can't see one anywhere. Its the Samsung SRS676GDHLS, side by side. Can anyone help please?

Mine I simply i hold the ice button for a few seconds to turn it on or off.

Maybe try turning it off at the power point for about 20 seconds and turn it on again..

Remove the ice holder bucket and under the top clear plastic cover (where the ice is made) on the left hand side as you face he freezer bob your head down and look up into the gap and you will see a:Blue: reset button press this and all should be good again. It does take a few hours for the machine to begin making ice again.

Hello John Gallen & sarah. I've got my daughter trying to find the reset button as we're having the same problem. I'm at work and reading your instructions out to her but she can't find it. Do you have to remove the top clear plastic cover too? I don't know how to get that off if you do. Any further instructions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Danielle

A PC Er code and alarm comes up and beeps for about 1 minute then reverts back to normal. Any ideas?

I have not had this problem the only thing I can think of is the filter needs changing or the child lock or ice off is switched on. If that does not work check to see that both doors are closing properly. The alarm only goes for about a minute so if you expect a constant beeping it wont happen. If my suggestions do not fix the problem telephone Samsung who are only to happy to advise you how to fix the problem they are great to speak with and nothing is too much trouble.

Hi Joy They all have different temperature settings the top drawer is ideal for meat fish smallgoods and any other thing that can handle the cold as some times different foods I have put in there have become half frozen like lettuce. The middle and bottom draws can handle any type of food you place in them keeping veg's and fruit nice and fresh and crispy. So no problems there. Hope this helped you out.

Three. The top one is suposed to be used for meat storage and the bottom two for vegetables. The main thing to remember is to not set your fridge temp lower than 4 degrees as it will freeze your veges in the top drawer. The vegies seem to last forever stored in these shelves.

How to set temp for freezer/fridge?

On the ice/water buttons press until you set the desired temperature. Just keep pressing them individually until you have the temperature you want to set it at.I found that with the fridge side set it at 4 degrees anything lower and it will freeze your vegetables in the draws as well as the shelves. I have set my freezer at -22 degrees and it works just fine at these settings. The freezer just about snap freezes at this temperature. Hope this helps you out OK.
