I have the black one with all the attachments and have had it for a few years now. It’s not a bad vac in regards to stick vacs. You can never beat a corded bagged Miele in my opinion but this isn’t a bad vacuum for in between deeper cleaning. It’s light and easy to grab for a quick clean ups. I love the canister section is clear and you can see… Read more
how full it is. Works better on hard floors than carpet. Battery lasts well enough for the size of my house although now I am finding I have to vacuum on max power to try to pick up the pet hair off carpets. Lucky it comes with another battery. It comes with a stand that you can empty your dust into which lasts about two months. The only way you know it is full is by opening it to look as there is no indicator. It only comes with three dust bags. The floor cleaner works ok. Again it’s a quick and easy in between proper mopping. I don’t fill the water canister as it doesn’t last long enough and I just spray the floor as I go with a trigger bottle. You would probably have to buy another set of cleaning pads. The crevice tool is good as it bends to get into window crevices but feels a bit flimsy.l Overall I recommend as a secondary vacuum for quick in between clean ups.
Just avoid this vacuum and Samsung in general. The plastic neck where you connect your different heads to is an extreme weak point already, so we have babied this and instead a TINY plastic clip just start to break off over 2+ years under normal use. The item is still under warranty but Samsung is trying to charge me for the repair saying it is… Read more
physical damage?!?!?? Are you kidding me?!?!
If a tiny plastic clip breaks after 2 years of use that is considered physical damage from Samsung's point of view but under Australian Consumer Law it sure as hell is not.
I called Australian Consumer Affairs / Fair Trading to see if I was covered and they assured me I was under Australian Consumer Law yet Samsung's customer service is just non existent and insists this is their final decision.
Just as a bit of FYI, I'm an engineer and this part is a weak point and designed to fail, being such a thin and brittle part and made of plastic..... this was going to happen even with normal use.
Samsung obviously has told the technicians they refer you to to try and blame it on physical damage whenever possible and they are attempting to do this right now.
So I'll be taking this to Australian Consumer Protection / Fair Trading.
This isn't the first time Samsung has tried to screw me over either and I've taken them to the same above department (and won), it is just their customer service is TERRIBLE and apparently (this is according to fair trading directly) Samsung has had a change in upper management and just flat out refuses to acknowledge fault, so all blame is put on the customer.
This is why I'll be avoiding Samsung all together from now on and suggest others do the same.
Samsung customer service is atrocious and no existent – Ordered one of these vaccums afew weeks ago from the official Samsung Australia website. Paid my money and then it asked me to book delivery which I did for the following week on Thursday. Thursday morning I received a message from the ANC delivery company saying the delivery cannot take place because the product wasn't available to be picked up… Read more
from the Samsung warehouse in Melbourne. I rang Samsung call centre who are based overseas. They had a look and told me that the vaccum has not arrived in the warehouse yet. I asked how long she told me within 24 hours someone will call you to rearrange another delivery date. Next day no contact. I rang back they told me I will need to wait 10 business days for someone to contact me to tell me when delivery can be arrange. I told them to cancel the order and get a refund. They told me refund will take up to 28 days.. Absolutely disgusted in the complete lack of service Samsung provided to their customers. I have learnt a big lesson and that lesson is no more Samsung products for me and no more online orders for me either. Save yourself heartache and time and go into a physical store and buy yourself a product from a reputable company.
Can not believe I've gone so long without one! – This vacuum is one of a kind! How I have gone this long in life without it, I will never know. From vacuuming, to mopping, self cleaning and charging station this thing does it all! Comes with a complete set of different heads and extenders aswell as disposable mopping pads for use. Used on tiles and carpet in the vacuum settings, suction even on… Read more · 1
minimum setting, mopping on tiles was incredible! Even better is when you are finished, all you have to do is slide it onto the charging/self cleaning station and it will dispose of the picked up mess at the click of a button, with a detachable dust bag that only needs removing and replacing after 3 months (more if you're like me and don't get a lot other than dust!) You will not regret getting your hands on one of these! It's a little on the pricey side but absolutely worth it!
Absolute game changer! – Our first stick vac and WOW what a game changer!! We had no idea vacuuming would be this fun or easy! We arrived at Harvey Norman fully prepared to buy a robo vac. Whilst we waited for a sales assistant (they were really busy!) we were looking at the Samsung Bespoke Jet Elite. The Samsung rep Sandy was lovely. She showed us all the functions, let… Read more · 1
us have a test drive and we were sold! My fiancé who despises vacuuming with all her heart instantly fell in love.
As someone with 2 herniated discs and bad sciatic pain this vacuum could not be easier on your body. It glides over both carpet and hard floors and requires almost no effort. It’s a smidge heavy in the hand but that’s only as we have never had a stick vac before and are just used to a ‘hollow’ handle per say.
We are now fighting to use the vacuum. Build quality and fit and finish is excellent as expected at this price point.
2 batteries is a massive plus, we are able to vacuum our 22sq house on ‘med’ power with 4 minutes remaining and another fully charged battery ready to insert. It is also incredibly quite and sounds like someone is vacuuming on the other side of the house even though it’s right next to you.
It’s really a no brainer to buy this over the jet90 due to the auto emptying, extra battery, extra accessories which all add up to well over the cost of the bespoke jet bundle.
Long term I expect this vac to go the distance but time will tell, until then we are loving it!
Thanks Samsung!
Almost good – Bought the vacuum in March and loved it BUT broke down after 2 months. It's been deemed faulty and I have had it with Samsung's warranty! I wanted it replaced but it's out of stock in their warehouse and while it is available to purchased online, they won't replace from their online stock so it's now almost July and still no replacement! Almost 2… Read more
months without vacuum! Rang them again yesterday and if I ask for refund it'll 30 days!! How could this even be legal - time to complain to the ACCC. Shocking after sales service.
