Galaxy A04s - not impressed – I've had this phone for sometime now to replace my damaged Samsung Galaxy S10+ which is probably the worse move I could have made at the time. Although the phone is more advanced the processing chip is so much slower to the point of being frustrated having to wait and this is obviously more apparent the more an application consumes resources which is more and more likely as technology and time progresses.

Message sent. However, I have no idea what you can do about it though as it is the slow processing chip being used in these phones that is the problem.
Samsung A04 worth buying if you don't want to waste money on mobile phone – Bought Samsung A04 from Kogan at $190, that same price as refurb phone. What a great buy this has been, does all that any old timer in this electronic age wants. My wife who spends $600 on her Samsung A52 phone gets nothing more. Sometimes the simple things in life are the best without breaking the bank account all you get when you spend more money is useless trivia.
Purchased in for $190.

Basic functionality – Phone is a bit slow to load. Not bad for and an entry level phone mostly only used for internet and apps. Screen brightness is not very good.

OK phone BUT no NFC – Why on earth would someone put out a new phone without NFC Contactless payment chip. I mean, this is 2023 isn't it? What a complete waste of money this was.
Purchased in at Optus for $329.
Hey Glen, I am sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with this device. Please see our product specifications that are displayed on the store - external link
Here it shows all specifications of the device and states "NFC - No".

Ah, no. First, my name is Glenn not Glen old mate Brian or is it Brain? Secondly, you have got to be pulling my leg LOL, product disclosure in a COLES Supermarket? I don't think so. WHERE? Simple point Brain/Brian why don't you get people selling these phones to TELL the customer it has No NFC FIRST? I wonder, maybe because people wouldn't buy them then? This is a rip-off, in my opinion of course.
No NFC!!! Means no Google Wallet, no Afterpay, etc – Does not have this feature! What phone in this day and age, is incapable of this function? Should be recalled or very clearly stated! Not hidden way way way down the list that you can't use that function. I bought this for work where I would usually have the company business card in google wallet to make business purchases. Now I have a very expensive paperweight. This was AFTER I checked out the specifications etc before buying. No t happy. And battery won't charge properly. Sits on charge all night for about 25 percent and my old phone had no problems charging. Waste of money! Speaker/microphone quality crappy as well.
Purchased in for $297.
