Battery and charger very poor – After owning 4 previous Samsung phones in the past, this will probably be the last. Although the phone is basic it does what I need it for. As far as the battery, it doesn't last very long and the charging time is for ever slow. Show details
Great Phone – I don’t understand all the negative reviews on the A22 , although most of what I have read comes down to user [Content Removed] ie. My phone makes noise at night, really? Turn off the notifications [Content Removed]. This is a great phone that well out preforms my iPhone 13. Internet download speeds A22 119 mbps, the iPhone 38 mbps. The Samsung win hands down. Still Waiting On Bootup – Five minutes later l can finally do something on this phone. Browse for 5 minutes hang on, now the screen is frozen, go make a cuppa, come back, all good for another 5 minutes, now the screen starts shaking and it won't stop, so turn phone off and switch it back on, 10 minutes later it's all good to go again. by some alien force whenever l handle it to close to the bottom or top edge or whenever hovering a fingertip above the screen taking me away from the content being viewed. It's been close to being smashed up against the wall a few times in frustration, but when it's behaving itself it's a reasonably average to good phone. I just expected a better faster processor for the price point, and you need a faster capable processor to take advantage of the faster 5G Capabilities of the phone. Disappointing really.

Waste of money – Compared to my girlfriends cheaper oppo, and my 7 year old iPhone which I had previously, this phone is nothing short of hammered you know what. no RFID chip, autocorrect is stuck on US with no option to change to Australian and even then still it just doesn't work. Examples: sams7ng samsyng samsinh Samsung... out of 4 examples of me typing a word this phone SHOULD know with one letter difference and yet still only once it could work it out. Just a bullslop effort. Lastly, the adaptive brightness... oh my God I don't know how they've managed to screw it this bad. Pull your phone out of your pocket and expect the screen to wake up between 5 and 10 seconds later. My honest takeaway: BUY ANY OTHER PHONE, ANY. BECAUSE THE A22 IS A COLOSSIAL HEADACHE ON THE BEST OF DAYS.

Absolute Rubbish Phone – This phone failed to do samsung data switch. Then for 4 days would not send or receive mmms msgs. 3 hours of remote logging in to phone by Samsung service failed to resolve the issue or achieve a resolution. Thanks to retailer who offered a refund. Still waiting on a promised flow up call from Samsung. Show details
What an utter piece of garbage – I bought the phone on 07 February 2022. The battery was evidently swelling by the end of April and so badly it separated the rear panel from the case by early May. no point. The screen had a small crack, which voided the warranty. so no warranty on a $400 phone that died within in 3 months of purchase. Lovely! Utter garbage! I have never had such a poor-quality phone before in my life, and I never will again. Good-bye Samsung! I will never deal with you again!

Drop the A22 as it's 2022 now and this phones acting like a B17 (Doesn't even deserve to have the letter B more the letter D) do a recall like vehicles do a recall when they know there's a Malfunction, pretty sure your review teams over reading these low and disturbing ratings....
NO NFC or Contactless Payments – Purchased this pre-paid handset from Telstra. Can not believe in this day and age and with the covid-19 this new handset has no NFC and you can not make contactless payments. very conveniently not mention. Show details
A very good phone – An excellent phone. Screen is excellent, very snappy in response whilst battery life is solid. My only issue is no NFC so I can't use it to make payments with Google Pay. Show details
