Samsung Galaxy A35 (2024)
VerifiedMPNs: SM-A356ELBAATS and SM-A356EZKAATS3 reviews
Updates have changed my phone, who's in control here, glitches, loss of reception, continually have to restart phone, sms and mms not received when sent, battery drain allot higher, complained to them, ages ago, said they would ring me back in 1 to 2 days, but they lied they didn't contact me at all , now I'm too scared to do anymore updates, i don't trust them anymore, their chat line is an insult, and their complaints handling is pathetic. Software....One UI 7 ....update is terrible, blank screens, closings apps screen has changed to book leaf, why do they do this without options, looks like we are now controlled by office tech nerds, who destroyed the phone that i originally bought. And the updates make your phone unusable for over an hour. Looks like i might have to go to an i phone for reliability, who can you trust when you phone manufacturer Samsung is so unreliable. Why don't they give us choices of what their updates will do to your original phone, layout and controls.
Follow-up · 1. Many issues, especially, a blank grey screen, while its thinking it now comes up before it goes in apps like Samsung Messages and other Samsung apps. Radical changes in icons for battery, settings , etc ...battery level is harder to read, etc. On my Samsung A35. 2. Response when i reported it to them by phone, they said they would ring back but never did. Then they said by email much later on , after product review....for me to send it to their service centre, so i would have been left without a phone. Basically miss communication with who knows who and where they were ???, looks like Australia back up and service is hopeless if you live in northern rivers nsw . 3.Battery performance was a bit down but, that wasn't the main issue, as you can see they only ask the questions they want answered. I won't waste my valuable time dealing with them, I'll move on and search for a better company who serves the Australian consumer's better than Samsung, and doesn't pester me with constant update notifications. I'll never do another update, as they can't be reversed and they don't inform you of the changes that will take place on your phone. I don't trust SAMSUNG! ANYMORE!

don't waste your money on this paperweight – I can't believe it's 2025 and Samsung Australia are still trying to rip off Australian customers Like any modern 5G phone, the Samsung a35 is a dual SIM model that takes eSims Look it up on any website, and that is what it will tell you. But oh no, not in Australia. Samsung Australia have somehow got their hands on the model that is not only single SIM, but does not accept eSims. In fact the SIM manager function has been permanently disabled
Even Samsung's own customer service people are horrified, embarrassed, and ashamed, by this

6 months using the Samsung A35 – I found numerous video reviews online extremely helpful in selecting this phone. After six months of consistent use, having previously always opted for the top-tier S series, I've saved around a thousand dollars without experiencing any significant decrease in quality, except for one key area: the screen. I was unaware that the glass used on this model is not of the same premium quality and is more prone to scratches. I highly recommend purchasing a screen protector, which I unfortunately neglected to do.
Unless you prioritise gaming performance, consider foregoing the substantial expense of the flagship S series. The Samsung A series offers excellent value and will likely meet your needs perfectly.
