Purchased A55 5g about 6 months ago after my Samsung A52S was having trouble charging; and the cracked screen was annoying. A55 was initially good, great camera, great screen res, but within a few months it too started to get hard to charge; across more than 6 charging cables/power sources. It has good days and bad, suggesting software rather than… Read more

hardware. The mobile reciever (like the A52s) is much worse than my ancient S4. Most recently, the Bluetooth is playing up, good days, bad days as well, despite resets and all the other tips.. IMO Samsung is taking quality out of their phones, going backwards trying to prop up margins??? BTW, the nightime camera is quite brilliant (minor feature but).

Using the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has been a genuinely satisfying experience. The design strikes a nice balance between sleek and practical — it feels comfortable to hold, not too heavy, and looks premium with its clean lines and matte finish that resists fingerprints. Display & Media: The Super AMOLED screen is a standout feature. Colors are… Read more ·  1

vibrant and sharp, and the 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animations feel incredibly fluid. Watching videos and browsing photos is a real pleasure, whether indoors or outside in bright light.

Performance: Daily performance is smooth and reliable. Apps open quickly, multitasking works without noticeable lag, and even more demanding games run well at medium settings. The 128 GB storage feels generous for everyday use, with plenty of space for photos, apps, and media.

Camera: The camera setup performs impressively for its class. Photos are detailed with accurate colors in good lighting, and low-light shots are quite usable with minimal noise. Video quality is solid too, thanks to good stabilization and clarity.

Battery & Charging: Battery life has been excellent — easily lasting a full day of typical use, including social media, streaming, and occasional navigation. Charging is reasonably fast, so topping up during the day isn’t a hassle.

Overall: If you’re after a well-rounded 5G smartphone that excels in display quality, everyday performance, and battery life — without stepping into flagship pricing — the Galaxy A55 5G 128GB delivers great value and a consistently reliable experience.

Bought this phone over a year ago, and it still works well. Got it on a great deal, and it was far better priced than any competitor. Show reply

I have been using this phone for a year now. In the history of phones, every single on has had problems but this is the very first phone that has NEVER had any sort of problem at all - Zero. It does everything, I have over 50 apps on it, I use it for pictures, video, calls, video calls, music to my smart devices etc and the battery life is… Read more ·  1

exceptional. If I have it in the car for MAPS, I can run it for 6 hours before needing to plug it in for charge. I know there are newer phones that have come out, but when on a tight budget and you want something that works great as good as an expensive phone, but don't want to fork out the insane amount of money for those.. well you would not know the difference with this one unless you were fussier than I am. If you read my reviews - I am fussy.

Samsung A55 128GB – Upgraded from Samsung A50. So far very pleased with the A55. Battery life on power saving is amazing. 2 days+ without need for charging. Cameras(both rear and front) take excellent clear photos even when zoomed. Response time for apps is fast. Overall, very pleased with the phone. Show details ·  1

Got the runaround with no result – The speaker on my new phone won't work. I've checked the settings and still no good. Phone seems similar to the a52 otherwise maybe s tiny bit bigger. No earphone jack and no charger included for 699.00. I'm pretty angry at just how difficult it is to get the bonus. The shop jb hifi was no help just said it was easy. So after not being able to… Read more
