don't buy this lemon - it doesn't retain its date & time when turned off – Although the phone from PhoneBot was grade-B, there were very few scratches. The price is very good. little more than 3Ah. That's quite a serious reduction in capacity, so factor in a $100 replacement battery sooner than you may have thought with a new phone. It's only been bought to replace a perfectly good phone because our 3 major Telcos are shutting down the 3G network & every new phone now needs VO-LTE in order to make emergency calls. 1,000,000+ phones on the scrap heap! Note the (free) supplied case weighs nearly as much as the phone so you may want to consider some alternative.
PS (2 months later) Since the above review the screen no longer recognizes taps, and the grade-B price has dropped to $349 & I've posted back the phone under warranty. Major security hassle as they wanted the lock screen PIN, and of course with a non-functional phone I wasn't able to delete Google accounts prior to returning. Also not sure whether related/ whether was always an issue/ whether related to non-taps, but if Wifi and mobile reception are both disabled or not available when the phone is turned on, the date/time is always the wrong date back in May 2024 - turns out to be the "kernel build" date. Have had no acknowledgement from PhoneBot whether this is a bug or not. Doesn't appear I can modify my original post. Although the company are dealing with the issue would now give the experience 2 stars.
PS (another month later) I see the price has dropped another $20 to $329. PhoneBot repaired the screen although still waiting to read how I get a $14.40 on my return postage. This phone may now be totally written off because whenever the phone is turned off it looses the date & time. PhoneBot has acknowledged this is a bug with the A73. Don't buy this phone! I've had 3 messages with Samsung but only with silly 3 year old suggestions so far. I'll update this post if things work out better than I'm expecting.
Good value for money – This phone comes with great features including good camera. It's fast enough for me to do most of my Internet browsing work in addition to normal phone features. It doesn't come with eSIM feature which can be useful while travelling overseas. Show details · 1

Do not buy this phone! – Decent screen quality and camera Not Bluetooth compatible with any device. I've performed more than 3 factory resets, updates, upgrades, forgot network and reconnected. Gone over the troubleshooting...... Amazing mid-range phone – My previous phone was a Galaxy S10 Plus and I thought that was pretty good, but a few years later and a mid-range phone is far superior. The A73 is excellent. I really can't fault it. - gorgeous big screen - excellent stereo sound - IP67 water resistant - good camera setup - light and comfy in the hand I also prefer the plastic back as it's far less susceptible to breaking like the glass backs on flagship phones. So far so good – I had an S10e and was happy with performance but screen would crack easy...After reading lots of reviews I took a gamble on the A73... I've only had the phone 1 week from JBhifi for $599.. So far performance is great and camera is sufficient.. Samsung Mobile phone – Purchased A73 5G as I needed a dual sim phone. This was chosen by me for that reason of (dual Sim) organized and purchased by work and when I received it is no a dual sim in Australia. However Australian websites are selling the dual sim version. I spoke to Samsung and they are saying you should not use google to search for phones and other shops within Australia and can only trust the Samsung Australian website.

Just one thing is that you have to buy a charger separately because no charger in box just the phone and the charge cable.
