Good bin companion – I bought the mini from Coles 5 months ago and am ready to throw it away. 9 out 10 calls drop out after 30 seconds of talking. Continually over rides the calls with other functions in the phone whilst you are talking. Received no after sales service from Coles. Have replaced the sim which made it worse. Pity as the size suits me but sadly I am having to buy a new phone before I go insane.  Show details

its ok – ITS ACTUALLY ALRIGHT, for kids who just get a phone its perfect for them, its nice and small and is pretty cheap. It can be slow at time and doesn't have a lot of storage but pretty good overall. It will not run all the flash apps that expensiver phones do  Show details

Can do everything a more expensive phone can do but so much cheaper – My husband goes through so many phones, that I was fed up paying ridiculous prices every few months. Well I decided to have a look in the Telstra shop in Joondalup WA and they had so many phones on display it was like walking into a candy shop and not knowing what you really wanted as they all looked so good! I myself already have a galaxy and… Read more

have been really happy with it.

I asked the guy if they had any like mine as hubby had played around with mine for a few days and liked the feel of it and the ease of use.

He showed me the mini. I was skeptical at first because of the price difference between a mini and a what I would call a standard size phone was.

He explained that it had all the same features but was smaller in size and in price.

10 minutes later I had purchased hubby a new phone as well as a hard cover case, car charger and screen protector and I still had change left over, compared to the price for just the normal size phone.

I charged the phone on the journey home (3 hours)

When I gave the phone to hubby he was well chuffed. His friends who were at our house at the time said they really wanted one but they were too expensive!!!!

Hubby can do everything on his phone now. surf the internet, use his avionics (boat chart plotter thingo) as well as receive and make calls and get pictures of his grandkids)

This phone is so much more than I expected. And even after hubby dropping it a few times and taking it on the boat it is still in great condition a few weeks later. (longer than what his other phones have lasted!!!)

Cheap but limited – This phone is extremely cheap. It works well as a phone. That's pretty much where the positives end. First up , this phone does not accept flash. It will not run any Flash apps. That straight away blocks 70% of apps from being ran on it. The screen is outrageously small. Most apps cannot run on such a small screen. Lastly, even if it could use… Read more

flash and use 100% of apps in the market, the only space it has for installing apps is 170MB! For comparison, the Facebook app and the camera and chat apps that accompony it are in total 30MB. Angry Birds in 20MB. Add on Skype, that's another 20MB. 3 Apps, almost 50% of the memory full. But the apps it can run will do just fine, and thanks to modding, it can be used to run flash with some workarounds and modding. Low cost, works well as a phone, can run an app, large modding community, 100% free GPS software, good sound quality, dual sim Ridiciously small memory, no Flash, tiny screen size, can only run Android 2.2, can't run alot of apps, not enough ram to run multiple apps, requires recharging every night, poor camera, low quality music player

Affordable smart phone – The Galaxy mini is an affordable smart phone at $99.00 with 10.00 free credit from Optus purchased from All Phones. This little phone has many of the features of it's more expensive big brother The Galaxy S1, 2 or 3 so is a great entry level smart phone. Easy to use would highly recommend. Price and ease of use

I think this samsung product is very good and good quality with low price – time used to photograph the movement of its acceleration is very good and also very easy to use although sometimes if you open another application when an application is open long enough, but by and large I really liked this mini samsung Good, cheap with the latest technology and able to be stylish for batteries is a bit extravagant and a bit hot but overall this mini galaxy of samasung very good

Get what you pay for – Really happy with the size but the phone itself is pretty basic and the screen resolution is a bit too small for some apps to work correctly. Still, at just over $100 delivered I guess you get what you pay for. Size, Price Screen resolution

I'm not happy with it – Battery runs down & out to far too fast. The side volume control is very touchy & keeps turning the volume down on me, it needs a locking device to stop this from happening. Size Stated above
