Samsung Galaxy Young (2013)

This is ok if you need it only for messeges and phone – The Samsung Galaxy Young 2 is one of Samsung’s cheapest phones, designed to appeal to those who have no interest in 5-inch, Full HD screens and super-powerful cameras. In return, you only have to pay around £70 for the privilege of owning a Young 2. Sadly, it’s not much of a privilege.

Great simple phone. Recommended – This is my second Samsung Galaxy Y. I hated the first one as it didn't respond to my fingers on the touch screen half the time and I found the keyboard clumsy with the setting buttons too close to the letters and overbearing editing and predictive text options. But this new updated version is much better; Samsung have clearly ironed out the glitches from the previous model. It is quick, the touch screen is very responsive, very intuitive and user friendly. It is a simple phone to use for calls, texts, photos and internet. The camera quality is excellent and the keyboard has been revised with a much more user friendly layout for texting. Battery life could be better but other than that I am very happy with this phone and would highly recommend it. I returned a Nokia and swapped it for this one at the same price of $99, the difference between the two is quite remarkable, the Nokia was rubbish, the Samsung is excellent. Easy to use. Nice looking. Good keyboard for texting (much better than previous models). Great Camera. Excellent bang for buck. Battery life isnt as good as the older model.
