My flip 6 has a manufacturing fault within warranty and after taking it to Tech Works Liverpool and got a report and beings advised the white line flashing on the fold area is a known fault with the flips only reported some black dot on side not the whole flashing line. After waiting hours to get the report Samsung advised me that if I don't want… Read more

it repaired to take it back and it has to stay with them for 3 - 5 days for it to be escalated, I asked what are you doing with my phone in that time, they said reporting, I said I have the report already. Spoke to a team leader then a case manager who just keep reading out the same script and have no customer service skills whats so ever. don't even try to help the consumer. I reported them to fair trading who are dealing with them. They advised that they can repair, I said why would I want a repair for the same fault to occur

Now I've had my Produce Pod for a few weeks I must say I'm disappointed - I DO NOT want to have to empty it and wet the inside bag every 2 days - if I remember to do that then I remember to cook the vegies in it - the whole point is to go to the fridge after a week or so and the vegies are fresh!!! Also... my carrots after a week (with 2 annoying rinses) are SOFT.. not working, very disappointed!!! Show details

Warning: Don’t buy a Samsung Flip Phone. I purchased two Samsung Flip phones, each costing over $1,700. After just 12 months and 10 days, both developed screen faults — black spots on the display. The screen protectors were undamaged, yet I was told the problem was my fault and that I had caused a “dent” in the screen. How does this even happen?… Read more

A bit of dust when you close the phone? If so, that’s a design flaw — the screen is clearly too soft. And if there really was a dent or hole in the screen, wouldn’t the screen protector also be damaged? Common sense says yes.

Optus’ response: “It’s your fault, we can’t help you.” This is how they treat a loyal customer of over 25 years who has spent thousands with them.

Samsung spends millions advertising these phones to entice buyers — but just 10 days out of warranty, they tell me: “Sorry, can’t help you unless you pay $500 per phone to repair.”

I will never recommend Samsung or Optus again. Don’t waste your money — don’t buy one.

Frustrating Experience – Faulty Products and Poor Support I rarely leave reviews, but after dealing with three faulty units and months of poor customer service, I feel compelled to warn others. I initially purchased this device with high expectations, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. My most recent return was in April 2025,… Read more

following two earlier faulty phones, which Samsung attributed to their major manufacturing fault. Despite assurances that my case was escalated to the Voice of Customer (VOC) team and assigned to an agent, the communication has been inconsistent. It’s been over a month, and there has been no clear update on the refund process.

To make matters worse, I was updated after following up with the VOC team for the collection of the same faulty phone, completely contradicting the refund path that had already been initiated. This points to a serious breakdown in internal communication and case management.

My case has been active since January 2025, and the ongoing delays and confusion are unacceptable. I expected much better from this brand.

As of today, there has been no resolution or response from Samsung. My phone remains with them, and I have received neither a full refund nor a clear outcome. Even more frustrating, the refund I did receive was only partial, despite the fact that I was required to bundle the phone and earbuds together at the time of purchase.

Unless you’re prepared to deal with prolonged support issues, unclear refund processes, and product unreliability, I recommend looking elsewhere. If I do not receive a resolution immediately, I will be forced to pursue this matter through consumer protection channels and formal complaint avenues.

Won't honour warranty for known fault – Disgraceful ethics, purchased a flip 6 about 7 months ago and now have the black screen issue which 100s of people online are reporting and you won't repair due to a scratch on the hinge. Shame on you Samsung, you have a clearly defective product and you should fix it Show details

Flip 6 very dissappointing – I traded up to the flip 6 after my first Flip 5 was a great phone (long term apple iPhone user prior) The 6 was no where are stable as the 5. 4 months into ownership it stopped charging, quick google search. Known issues. Took to store, they said not heard about it. They were happy to take it and send for review under warranty. Said I would look… Read more

at options and come back later as needed to find a cheap temporary phone. 4 days later phone froze. And no longer working at all. Will update review following what happens when take to Samsung, but will certainly be my last Samsung. Not worth $2000

Update - I have taken phone to Samsung Service Centre Sydney Olympic Park, (friendly but again nothing re when I said it is on the internet others having same issue with Flip6) to be looked at, and replied to Amy from Samsung. I will update on progress good or bad.

Update - I got a call from Samsung to advise my phone had been found to have issues and choice to get them to try and fix it or they could send me a new replacement phone. I took option of new phone. All has been done in under 4 business days which has been good. Negative part though is that they could not try and retrieve data from old phone with me taking this option when I asked, so have lost a lot of content and contacts.

New phone will arrive in 5-10 business days. Will give me time to decide what to do with it, as my cheap temporary phone is actually doing a great job. (You can see that review from my profile)
