black texture and wireless woofer are absolutely stunning. I can place the woofer under the TV console and get a bigger boom at a lower volume. It’s all that you’ll want if you’re running in budget of less than $300. Recommended!

Great Soundbar for the Price – Brand new 65" 4K TV. Just like all of them, the sound is not what you'd call 4K. I'm pretty sure the manufacturers do that on purpose, so you have to go back and buy a S/Bar just to get a decent sound for your movies etc. Hoping you'll buy a Samsung or whatever brand matches your TV. sound, decided now's the time. Purchased a Samsung HW-450 soundbar and hooked it up using the optical(digital) sound out from the TV. I could not believe what I was hearing. Beautiful crisp clear sound with a decent full bass sound from the sub-woofer. I have an open plan living area, approx. 8 mtr, by 15 mtr with hard floors(no carpet) and the R450 was more than ample to deliver an excellent sound with a rich full bass. I can only tell you what my experience was with this model, and I'm real glad I didn't spend $400, or $600. Like any electronic media device, you must check the settings on both units concerned. By the way my TV is NOT a Samsung. I have only used the Samsung HW-R450 connected via the optical sound out, and will not be changing the input. Very satisfied with the price, the sound quality (including the sub-woofer bass), and the ease of setup. That's my experience. I really think there are a lot of factors that give you a good result, i.e. where you position the speaker, where you position the S/Woofer, and the surfaces of your TV room (wall and floor). I'm lucky, purchased, set up, turned it on and sat back to enjoy the Cinema type experience I really wasn't expecting.

Great speaker and sub for the price – This speaker is good for a small room. Would not be good for a large room if your like your music loud. The sound is decent for the price. If you want premium sound you will need to pay more. Show details
