MC455THRCBB microwave brought from good guys in round February 2022 – straight out of the box turntable was jerky. did a warranty report through samsung sent a video of Jerky turntable telling me it's working okay round over 12 months later. roughly they finally agreed. Jerky turntable not working properly (jekry turntable was getting worse )told me it was a repair warranty. put it through repair warranty at… Read more

Northgate, Queensland at video factory in Northgate with only one number for their shop in Gold coast. not Northgate and only relying on messages from other shop bad straight up few weeks later telling me non-repairable escalating it to Samsung waiting for refund telling me up to 30 days for refund and microwave was in the repair shop since roughly beginning of May 2023 too long for a refund and also first telling me the microwave was working over 12 months prior when I first purchased the product. not good enough Samsung. and also Samsung customer service is overseas again. only contacting through messages to case manager that looking after the warranty claim and no replies from messaging through Samsung customer service and emails I've done due to still waiting in the time frame for refund to be done within 30 days again not good enough never buying Samsung products ever again

Hopeless needs to go back to design dept – I wanted to cook roasted vegetables so I selected Convection for 180C for 90 mins. The vegetables were chunky. After 90 mins I checked and all the vegetables were only warm and definitely not cooked. So I did a further 20 mins at 220C, no change. When you can pull a dish from the oven and not use gloves, there is something seriously wrong with the… Read more

product. This is the 2nd time it has failed to cook using the oven. The previous time a pizza tray (metal) was easily carried without gloves. I tried micro/convection but that failed as well. This brand is a lemon, worth only for 2 things - microwave for coffee and defrost small parcels of meat. Never buying a Samsung product anything ever again. Making arrangements to buy a Sharp that's expensive but it at least works. Samsung model MC455THRC has some aspects that are good but they are useless when the object doesn't function as it should,

I will never buy a Samsung product again – Samsung finally phoned me yesterday and advised me that I am required to take the BRAND new Oven to one of their repair centres. I advised them that the unit was faulty on arrival and should not be considered Warranty but a factory defect. No matter, I am still required to take it to their repair facility! This I will not do as it is very… Read more

inconvenient on so many levels!

So this leaves me

1) A defective oven 2) No water bowl to steam clean (missing) 3) a very dissatisfied customer

I understand that faults occur in manufacturing but how these are addressed, with minimal impact to the consumer is what matters. If Samsung think that the cost of doing business is to let the unfortunate customer do all their legwork instead of investing in QA then the answer for me is to never ever buy another Samsung product full stop.

Who dreamt up these controls??? – Controls are counter intuitive and the english users manual an imperfect translation. Controls are exponentially inferior to all our previous convection microwaves and so difficult I continue to use our cheaper back up unit. The dials apparently are multi layered; after you press them once they control different functions or parameters. Not clear… Read more

from symbols on screen what parameter is being amended. Ive used machine so few times I cannot comment on its cooking performance.

Great oven and microwave but a little bit hard to use – Its a great conventional oven the size is great and cooks really well. The dial can be confusing at times with having to double check what setting it is on. I am a little unsure if this product will hold up as a error came up saying SE it has since went away but i am still concerned if it will last. Show details

Not easy to use – Not as easy as it seems to use. Flimsy booklet doesn't really explain anything. Maybe OK if you have used Samsung before but my mother was getting more frustrated by the minute (quicker than it took the food to heat). Think seriously about this before buying it. Show details

Sad I purchased it – Had a sharp convection for 17 years. It out performed the Samsung in every way. Samsung has a big external footprint and does not fit in the cupboard, the internal racks are flimsy, the turntable wheels will probably last a year, turntable jerks as it turns. Tried to do garlic bread in tin foil in convection mode and everything inside was sparking. The sharp never did this. very sad that I did not get the sharp again.  Show details

Great features – Booklet seems flimsy without easy to follow basic instructions but there is easy to see basic cooking guide inside the door. Once you've read the booklet a couple of times it makes sense and then you have plenty of cooking methods and options. From yoghurt and prooving yeast dough to cakes and roasts, steaming crisping and microwave, finishing… Read more

with its own steam cleaning setting. Buttons are fairly easy to undetstand, food seems to retain moisture, I'm still learning more about it as I go, my regular oven doesn't work well so the microwave is taking its place and doing great job so far.

Brilliant – This is a relatively new release convection microwave and it is brilliant. The cost is very much less than the other convection microwave combinations available and it does everything you could wish for in this type of appliance. I was particularly looking for a mix component which uses both convection and microwave in the same operation. This… Read more

setting gives excellent results when baking chicken and roasts without the extra cost from straight convection cooking, takes less time and gives a beautifully cooked meal with moist and tender meat or chicken. It is very easy to use and attractive looking. It is a reasonably large microwave with a large turntable as well as a grill option. I am delighted.
